Sep. 4      Evening departure from Toronto via Paris to Warsaw, Poland
Sep. 5      Early afternoon arrival in Warsaw, transfer to our hotel, time for rest, dinner and overnight.
Sep. 6      Morning sightseeing tour of Warsaw includes the Old Town, the Royal Palace and Barbican. We
            celebrate Mass in one of churches of Warsaw. Some free time in the afternoon for shopping.
            Dinner and overnight.
Sep. 7      After breakfast we depart for Krakow. En route we visit Czestochowa – the site of Poland’s
            greatest shrine – Our Lady of Czestochowa, also known as the “Black Madonna”, a pilgrimage
            destination that goes back to the 14th century. We celebrate Mass and venerate the priceless and
            miraculous icon. Continue to Krakow for dinner and overnight.
Sep. 8      Krakow was the ancient capital of Poland. We visit the Market Square where we hear the silver
            trumpet of the bugler form the tower of St. Mary’s Church. Many of the buildings around the
            square and in the Old Ton are over 700 years old and include marvels such as the |Town Hall
            Tower, the Cloth Hall and most of all the Wawel Royal Castle. In the afternoon we go to an
            excursion to the world-famous salt mines in Wieliczka.
Sep. 9      We visit Lagiewniki – world known as “Divine Mercy Shrine”. This is where St. Faustyna had had
            numerous visions of Christ, who told her to keep a diary of their encounters, during which he
            spoke to her of the Divine Mercy. We celebrate Mass and visit the convent of St. Faustyna, her
            tomb and relics. In the afternoon we travel to Auschwitz, the notorious Nazi concentration camp.
            We visit a cell in which St. Maximilian Kolbe died and also the Martydom Museum recalling the
            horrors of the Holocaust. Return to Krakow for for dinner and overnight.
Sep.10      After breakfast we depart Krakow on our way to Hungary. En route we visit Wadowice, the
            birthplace of Pope Jahn Pauil II where we celebrate Mass. Upon arrival in Budapest, the capital of
            Hungary time for rest, dinner and overnight.
Sep.11      Our sightseeing tour of Budapest starts with a visit to the 13th century St. Matthias Cathedral, the
            Citadel on Mt. Gellert, the Royal Castle, the Parliament, Hero’s Square and the St. Stephen
            Church. In the afternoon we depart for Vienna, the capital of Austria. Dinner and overnight.
Sep.12      Morning tour takes us to the St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Opera House and the Schonbrunn
            Palace. Some free time in the afternoon for rest and shopping. In the evening an optional concert.
Sep.13      Morning at leisure. Later we travel to Prague, the capital of Czech Republic. Dinner and overnight.
Sep.14      Full day in beautiful Prague. We celebrate Mass at the Church of Our Lady of Victory and see the
            renowned statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague. We visit the Old Town by the way of Golden Lane
            and then go to the Lesser Town to see the medieval Charles Bridge. We also see St. Nikolas
            Church, the Astronomic Clock and the Castle District where we tour St. Vitus Cathedral, St.
            George’s Basilica and Wenceslas Square. Some free time in the afternoon for shopping and rest.
            Dinner and overnight in Prague.
Sep.15      We depart for Munich in Germany, the capital of Bavaria. We visit Neuschwanstein to see the
            fairytale castle of King Ludwig II of Bavaria. Dinner and overnight.
Sep.16      We travel to Switzerland and the Benedictine Monastery of Einsiedeln, dedicated to Our Lady of
            Hermits. Upon arrival Mass, dinner and overnight.
Sep.17      Full day excursion to Lucerne where our sightseeing tour takes us to Lion Monument by B.
            Thorvaldsen, the Cathedral of St. Leodegar the Kapellbrucke, old bridge originally built in 1333.
            Some free time for shopping and later return to Einsiedeln for dinner and overnight.
Sep.18      After breakfast we are transferred to the airport in Zurich and fly back to Toronto via Paris.
