HALL REPORT:
In the absence of Rob Harper, President Duffield commented on the hall rental
by the Greyhounds who were charged $300.00 and were very pleased with the
lodge. Bob Gilson commented that the Greyhounds used the hall from 7:00 in
the morning until 6:00 P.M. Need to ask Rob on the hours they requested.

President Duffield advised that the Berrien County Sheriffs Office Motorcycle
Ride is scheduled for Sunday, August 28, 2011 and have rented the lodge. Will
need someone to open the lodge in the A.M and a bartender will be needed.
JoAnne Stevens volunteered to bartend.
BAR REPORT:
Reported by Bob Gilson:
  1. Bar has been slow, still slow on Saturday nights but feels it should pick up
      in the fall.
  2. Still need volunteers to bartend.
  3. Complaints on no snacks offered so bags of chips were bought and not
selling. Tony advised that something should be offered by the lodge,
possibly pretzels or bring back popcorn.
  4. Having problems with Direct TV. Called several times starting in February
about the receiver and keep getting the run-around. Tony advised that the
bill is $100.00 and he will check into possibly getting a “bundle” including
      TV and phone line.
  5. Gift Certificates: Bob reported too many gift certificates are being donated
and made a motion that all donated gift certificates need to be approved
by the board. Seconded by Bill Saurbier, motion carried by all members
      present.
  6. Lots of clothes, have over a $1,000.00 of clothes and have only made
      $200.00, need to start selling
  7. Bob commented on the communication between members who are doing
work around the lodge. It appears two people came to spray weeds when
      only one was needed.

NOTE: Do not ring up gift certificates as cash. If someone has a $10.00 gift
certificate and their bill is $12.00, ring up the $2.00 and place gift certificate in
drawer.

NOTE: Bob again advised that he can no longer continue managing the bar.
