Technical Support Representative- Canon U.S.A., Inc.- Norcross, GA
Under general supervision, the Technical Support Representative (TSR) performs moderately
complex customer support activities for equipment in the Broadcast and Communications
Television (BCTV) Department. Using detailed company guidelines, The TSR will
repair defective and/or damaged lenses and related material, provide technical support to dealers
and customers, and offer technical information, training and advice to ensure effective customer
The TSR repairs lenses and related material for Canon dealers and customers in a timely and
professional manner in order to provide an effective service department. Also, provides technical
support and training to dealers and support staff, supplies information concerning parts and
policies, and responds to inquiries to ensure a knowledgeable sales staff and excellent customer
support. The TSR receives and inspects incoming items for repair and furnishes verbal and/or
written cost estimates. Maintains service area, stocks inventory and cleaning chemicals, files
service repair records and keeps area generally clean to ensure a productive work area.
The position requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of related work experience. A
strong electronics background is needed as well as the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
Excellent communication and customer service skills are also required. The successful candidate
must have and maintain a valid driver's license and meet all federal requirements to work on a
military base and/or related facility
