									                        Chief Master Sergeant Mark A. Renninger
Chief Master Sergeant Mark A. Renninger is the Superintendent of the 548th
Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Group, Beale Air Force Base,
California. He is the senior enlisted advisor to the group commander on all matters
related to morale, welfare, training, effective utilization and readiness of over 800
enlisted personnel in three active duty, one Air Force Reserve, and five Air
National Guard intelligence squadrons. The group operates Distributed Ground
System (DGS)-2, DGS-Arkansas, and DGS-Nevada of the Air Force Distributed
Common Ground System. Its mission includes the exploitation of near-real time U-
2, Global Hawk, Reaper and Predator unmanned aerial vehicles,
national/commercial imagery, and signals intelligence to provide actionable, fused,
all-source intelligence to theater, joint/combined force and component
commanders. Additionally, the group operates and maintains the Air Force’s only
deployable film-based imagery production, exploitation and dissemination facility
which produces broad area, high resolution imagery in support of Secretary of Defense and Joint Chiefs
of Staff taskings.

Chief Renninger enlisted in the Air Force in September 1982 as an information management specialist
and then converted to the personnel career field in 1986. He has served in the information management
and personnel career fields at various Air Force bases as well as at the US Embassy in Cairo, the National
Security Agency, and with the Joint Task Force for Full Accounting. He assumed his present duties in
May of 2007.
