National Volunteer Week
April 27 – May 3, 2003
On behalf of TAM staff, thank you to all
the volunteers who have helped the
Tacoma Art Museum be what it is today.
Because of you the Tacoma Art Museum
is able to offer educational programs to
the public, lead tour for adults and
children through diverse and thought-
provoking exhibitions, maintain a
comprehensive resource library, promote
the benefits of membership and connect
our community through art. We couldn’t
do it without YOU!
During the week of National
Volunteer Week, we will participate in the
Volunteer Reciprocal program –
volunteers are able to visit 25 area
participating organizations free of charge.
You need volunteer identification (e.g.
name tag). This program is for volunteers
only, family and guests will need to pay
admission. Please contact me if you didn’t
pick up a listing of the participating
agencies during training.
