               Memorial Scholarship
Charlie H. Mumford’s family would like to give $1,000 worth of
scholarships to a Grapevine High School senior who enrolls in a post-
secondary program in the pursuit of a career in the auto or agriculture
industry. Post-secondary programs can include 4 year colleges, 2
year colleges, apprenticeship or other structured programs. Careers
can be in the auto industry, agriculture, ranching or farming. If two
applicants equally represent the memory of Charlie then two $500.00
scholarships may be awarded. Deadline is April 5, 2012.

Charlie demonstrated a strong work ethic and natural instinct for
working on cars from a very early age. As an adult he loved the
time he spent working with cars making his job more fun than
work. Please write a 300 word essay on “Why I think my choice
of careers will be more fun than work.”
