EXHIBITOR INFORMATION
This year’s Open Air Demo has moved to a new location—Willard Bay, and will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2005. We’ve chosen
Willard Bay as the New Open Air Demo location for a number of reasons – its accessibility from Salt Lake City, its increased event space
and beachfront, easier move-in and move-out, better access to the water, and facilities.

Please route this information to all your staff and reps that will be involved with the Open Air Demo. If you have additional questions,
please call Nichole Rapone at 949-376-6295 or your Outdoor Retailer Account Executive. Please note that the Open Air Demo is only
available to manufacturers that are exhibiting at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market. Cancellation at the Summer Market Show automatically
cancels space at the Open Air Demo. Thanks for your cooperation and participation. See you at Willard Bay!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS (Rain or Shine)
Tuesday, August 9
        12 p.m. - 5 p.m.                       MANDATORY MOVE-IN: Any company that will be bringing more than one pickup
                                               truck or van-size load must move in the day before. This includes any oversized
                                               vehicles or vehicles with more than two axles or pulling trailers.
                                               Security will be provided to watch the gear overnight.

IMPORTANT
PLEASE NOTE: Willard Bay is a sand beach and no vehicles are allowed on the beach – this includes move in or move out! All exhibitors
must hand-carry gear to their booth space (approximately 200 feet)

BOOTH SPACE - TRUCKS, TRAILERS & VEHICLES
As a rule, trucks, trailers, and vehicles may not be used as a part of your Open Air exhibit. The only exception is if the truck, trailer or
vehicle is an integral part of the exhibit. If your vehicle is an integral part of your booth, you must call Nichole Rapone at 949/376-6295
for pre-approval. Using a vehicle, truck or trailer only for storage within your space is prohibited. PLEASE NOTE: Eagle Beach is a sand beach,
therefore if your truck/vehicle/rig gets stuck it is your responsibility to have it removed prior to event opening – 9 a.m. on August 10.
Outdoor Retailer and its associates do not take responsibiliy for any vehicles that enter the beach.

CAMPING
Willard Bay has two campgrounds - Willow Creek Campground and Cottonwood Campground. Cottonwood Campground is a full
service campground with water, sewer and electrical hook-ups and is $20/night. Willowcreek Campground is a tent campground
with culinary water and is $14/night. Both campgrounds have modern restrooms with showers. Reservations can be made from three to
120 days in advance. To make a reservation please telephone (800)322-3770, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

EQUIPMENT CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES
You may consider requesting to see (or hold) a photo ID or credit card, and/or maintain a sign-in sheet to keep track of the re-
tailers that are using your equipment. DO NOT CHECK OUT EQUIPMENT TO RETAILERS WITHOUT AN OPEN AIR DEMO WRISTBAND.

DIRECTIONS
From the Airport
Take I-80 East,get on I-15 North, take the Exit 360—Willard Bay—follow event signage to Eagle Beach.

From Salt Palace
Heading north on West Temple, make a left onto North Temple, Take a right on 300 West, Turn left onto 600 N, merge onto I-15 N
toward Ogden and take the Exit 360—Willard Bay—follow event signage to Eagle Beach.
EXHIBIT SET-UP
The Open Air Demo exhibit area is on Eagle Beach at Willard Bay. Please note: The demo area is a sandy beach. If you are in need
of tents or canopies, please read the Tents and Canopies section of this document. Early move-in is required and should you have
any special needs (i.e. a vehicle in your booth space or other special requirements) please contact Nichole Rapone at 949/376-6295.

EXHIBIT DISMANTLING AND REMOVAL
Please make sure that the dismantling and removal of your demo space is complete before you leave Little Dell on Wednesday,
August 10. An additional $250 will be charged if debris is left in the exhibit or demo space.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
Concessions will be available during the day near the demo sight including lunch, snacks and beverages. There are no services
available for in-booth catering, so feel free to bring your own food and beverages if you wish. HOWEVER, NO FOOD OR BEVERAGE
CAN BE SOLD FROM YOUR BOOTH.

BEER
Beer will be served from noon to 4 p.m. on August 10. Should you choose to have beer in your booth no kegs or bottles of beer are
allowed – cans only.

PARKING
We strongly encourage you, where possible, to use the shuttles that leave from the Salt Palace Convention Center or carpool with
others who are attending.

PLYWOOD
Willard Bay is a sand beach with a gentle slope to the water, so no plywood is necessary at this year’s event.

REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN
Exhibitors and attendees must register at the Salt Palace before proceeding to the Demo. Check-in and badge holder pickup will be in the
Registration booth adjacent to the demo area. The badge you receive for the Summer Market show at the Salt Palace Convention Center
is the same badge you will use at the Demo. All attending personnel must wear their badge at all times during the Demo. If any exhibitor
or retailer arrives at the Demo without their official show badge, we will have sticker badges that can be worn for that day only. For
security reasons, do not check-out equipment to anyone without a name badge or an Open Air Demo wristband.

SECURITY
There will be a security guard on duty all night on Tuesday, August 9 to secure the Demo area for the large exhibitors that are re-
quired to move-in the afternoon before the Demo. Small vehicles may be left in your exhibit space overnight to secure any small
merchandise or equipment that you would like to leave. However, all vehicles must be moved out of the Demo area by 8 a.m.
Wednesday, August 10 unless it has been pre-approved as part of your exhibit and is no bigger than your space.

SHUTTLE SCHEDULE
Shuttles will run from the Salt Palace to the Demo at 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am and noon. There will be shuttles that return to the
Salt Palace from the Demo at 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm and 4:30pm.

TENTS AND CANOPIES –          VERY IMPORTANT!
While we strongly recommend that each exhibitor who desires to have a tent rent one we realize that many will want to bring their
own structures. If you intend to rent a tent or canopy we recommend that you contact Tom Gleason at Diamond Rentals 800/748-5098.
If you bring your own tent or canopy you should have weights at each leg for safety, which will also be available to rent from Diamond
Rentals. Please contact Nichole Rapone at 949/376-6295 if you have any questions regarding the construction and/or safety of
your structure. If you are renting a tent, canopy, or other equipment for your demo space, delivery MUST be scheduled for Tuesday,
August 9, by 5pm and pick up for Wednesday, August 10, immediately after the Demo closes. Outdoor Retailer will not be responsible
for any equipment left after the close of the Open Air Demo. Equipment left at the Demo sight after Wednesday, August 10, will
be moved and stored and the associated exhibitor will be charged accordingly.

TRASH REMOVAL
PLEASE make sure that all trash has been properly removed from your Demo space and placed in trash containers before you leave
on Wednesday, August 10. Your company will be charged a $250.00 cleaning fee if any debris is left in your Demo space.

WAIVERS
ALL EXHIBITORS AND ATTENDEES MUST SIGN A LIABILITY WAIVER. You must sign your waiver and receive a wristband at the
registration area on the morning of the demo. For safety reasons, no one should be allowed to demo equipment without a wristband.

For those exhibitors who will be participating in the Open Air Demo at Willard Bay, GES is offering
complete freight handling services to include the following:

    Receive and store your freight for up to 30 days prior to set up
    Deliver your freight to Willard Bay on Wednesday, August 10, 2005
    Forward your freight at the conclusion of the Open Air Demo


      GES will provide this service at the special reduced rate of $45.25 per hundred
      pounds (with a minimum of 200 pounds per shipment).


If you are going to be shipping your freight to the GES warehouse for the Open Air Demo, please use the
enclosed shipping labels. No direct shipments to GES at Willard Bay will be possible. Willard Bay
will not accept any freight.


             Freight must be received to the GES warehouse by Tuesday, August 2, 2005


Freight handling charges will be applied to your exhibit booth account at the ORSM in the Salt Palace
Convention Center.
