In order to use the West Branch Recycling Center you
must live in one of the following areas:
City of West Branch, West Branch Township,
Ogemaw Township, Foster Township, Horton
Township, Edwards Township, Churchill Township,
Klacking Township, Rose Township or City of Rose
We are currently accepting ONLY the following items:
#1 and #2 Plastics ONLY
Look for Recycling symbol/number on the bottom
of containers-discard caps.
Glass, Tin and Aluminum Containers

Tuesday 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 – 1:00 p.m.
You must present your recycling card
each time you use the facility.
Individuals without cards will be denied.

Business Loop Improvement Project
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will
be improving the I-75 Business Loop in West Branch.
Construction will start April 2012 and run through
-MDOT community meetings- MDOT meeting will be held
in spring 2012. Time and date to be announced.

June 2nd- At the Ogemaw Hills Pathway, fierce
cyclists will be racing through a 22 mile loop
to battle it out up a steep finishing climb.
Races 10 a.m. through 3:30 p.m.
June 3rd- At Fox Hill Estates, 10 and 40 racers
racing throughout the day. Racing a set time
racers have 1 lap to put it all on the line and
win. 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The West Branch City Police along with all of our
local insurance agencies are participating in a
campaign to promote traffic safety. The City
Police would rather reward good, safe drivers
than punish bad drivers. During a 2 week period
over Memorial weekend, 4th of July and Labor
Day, City Officers will be watching for good, safe
drivers that are driving the speed limit and
wearing their seatbelt. The license plate number
will be written down and those selected will be
placed in a drawing for a 19” tv.
Hospice Annual Duck Race

Hospice Advantage is currently seeking volunteers to

would help with filing, making information packets,
