We are expanding our skilful team of Maths teachers, and have a vacancy for an additional high quality colleague.

Our students’ results in Maths have increased substantially in recent years, and we provide an effective induction and
continuing professional development programme for staff, making this an ideal post for a strong candidate who aims to
continue to improve their practice in a challenging and fulfilling professional context.

We use small group sizes, extensive interventions and a range of innovative methods to enable our students to
overcome the barriers to success.

Our young people are cheerful, sparky and full of fun, despite the extensive challenges that many have faced in their
young lives. At times they can require all of our skills and patience, yet each one deserves the very best education that
we can provide. This requires large helpings of enthusiasm, expertise, resilience and good humour.

As an inner city school, we are proud of our contribution to the community and to young people's lives. We have an
outstanding care and guidance system and our aim is to have equally outstanding performance across all subjects,
despite operating in a disadvantaged context with 50% free school meals and over 30 home languages. If this is the
