Intro to meeting agenda and board-Greg Fisherkeller, President
Philosophy of BCJFA: environment where teamwork is emphasized,
safety and fun. Not always wins and losses
Parent Expectations: expectations were reviewed, emphasis on releasing
your kid to the coach.
Fan Expectations: emphasis on becoming a good fan of the kids and the
game. Reminder that kids do not respond well to criticism from parents
of coaches or the officials.
Bill Waddell-Coaches coordinator: Goal of position is that they are
available to coaches and parents for issues during the season. This
position does not currently coach, so will be around to evaluate practice
and game situations.
Skill assessments are this Saturday. Please see your player’s time slot
on the BCJFA.org website. Players that are not at their assessment
this Saturday may lose their slot on the roster. Make up assessment
will be in late July once the draft has already occurred.
Sarah Slabaugh-Concessions coordinator: Changing the shift assignments
this year to “Easy sign ups”. Once the shifts have been determined, they
will be put on the website. It will then be the responsibility of parents to
fill the shifts, not the general manager. You can pick the days that fit your
calendar. You will be requested to fill 12 hours of shifts, how that is
divided up is up to the parent. It is first come first served. Reminder,
friends and family members can volunteer with you, minimum age is 18.

upcoming season. There will be a free kick (similar to punts) at the
