Academic Advisory Body: The Academic Activities are supervised by the Committee
Managing Director, Executive Director & the Director at the Institute level.. The Top level

Nature & Extent of involvement of Faculty & Students in Academic Affairs / Improvements:
i. A Faculty Advisor has been designated for a group of 30 students to extend
advises and discuss with their respective group students. Faculty Advisors
formally meets with their students group once in a fortnight, however, informally
any student can meet his Faculty Advisor at any time during the working hours.
ii. The Faculty Advisors are also required to monitor Attendance and Academic
performance of their Students group.
iii. The Faculty Advisor are also required to inform the Students performance to
their parent by sending at least two Performance Reports per Semester and also
on telephone from time to time as per individual requirement.
iv. Each and every student is free to inform his / her problems / suggestions
directly to the Director / Management in writing through Suggestion Box / E-
v. The Dean Student Welfare of the Institute is also available on all working days to
each and every student of the Institute for their grievance handling.
vi. Each Faculty Member provides at least 05 hours per week to their Students for
Academic related problems.
vii. The Proctorial Board of the Institute comprising of representative of each
Department takes care of disciplinary oriented problems of the students.
viii. An Anti-Ragging Squad of the Institute ensures ragging free environment in the
Campus of the Institute.

Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for democratic/good Governance
i. A Coordination Committee comprising of Secretary of the Governing Society,
Executive Director (Finance & Development), DSW, Dy. Registrar (Admission &
Examination), Dy. Registrar (Monitoring), Dean / HOD of all respective Faculty /
Department meets once in a month for the purpose of Inter / Intra Departmental
Coordination, Planning of Academic Activities, Requirement and Mobilization of
Resources required in respective Department, which includes Financial and
Human Resources as well. This Committee also deals with grievance handling of

Apart from this Regular Faculty Advisor Student Meeting are held where, at a platform the

Quizzes, Extempore etc are organized where students and Faculties interact and increase their
The regular feature of the teaching includes case studies, guest lecturers, role plays, films,
presentations, assignments, classroom projects and management games. Compulsory
orientation programs are conducted for the newly recruited faculty and for the fresh batches of
the courses by the experts from outside and by the senior faculties also. Regular faculty
development programs (FDP) are conducted by the experts from leading institutions faculties are
encouraged to participate in seminars, management development program (MDP) and alike
events within and out side the institute.

job placements for the final semester students and summer training for the

The institute through its well-established Training & Placement cell
undertakes a number of activities including time-to-time Industry-
