  2. An Expert lecture on “Low power VLSI Design & Nano Technology” was
     delivered by Dr. K.S.Gurumurthy, Professor & Head of DOS (ECE), UVCE,
     Banglore on 18-10-2008

  3. An Industrial tour to “SHAR” Department of Space, Sriharikota, Nellore was
     arranged in 2008

  4. A Regional level workshop R-SPAC-08 (Regional Students Professional
     Awareness Congress) was organized on 27-12-2008 and 28-12-2008 as a part of
     IEEE activity.

 1. An Expert lecture on “Introduction to XILINX Tools” was delivered by
    Mr. Srikar Talla, Application Engineer, CoreEL Technologies, Hyderabad on
    21.04.2009

 2. An Industrial visit to “ISTRAC [ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command
    Network], Bangalore was organized between 30-07-2009 to 04-08-2009. A group
    of 26 IEEE students have visited as a part of this tour.

 2. An Expert lecture on “An Introduction to Embedded Systems and Applications”
    was delivered by Dr. V.Loganthan, CEO, Indian Service Machine, Bangalore on
    17-06-2010
 3. A Seminar on “Building Positive Attitude towards career” was organized by the
    department on 17-06-2010. Dr. V.Loganthan, CEO, Indian Service Machine,
    Bangalore delivered a talk.
 4. An Industrial tour to “Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre” Department of Space,
    Government of India, Thiruvananthapuram, was arranged on 05-07-2010.
 5. A section student congress was held at ‘OU Campus’, Hyderabad on 21-08-2010
    and 22-08-2010 students of SREC-IEEE student branch participated in program.
    SREC was one among the ‘8’ colleges selected as S.B’s (out of 70 colleges under
    Hyderabad section
 6. A Regional level workshop R-SPAC-10 (Regional Students Professional

7. The Exe-Com members of SREC, IEEE student branch visited NIT Warangal as a
    get-together organized by NIT IEEE student man members on 02-08-2010 the
    objective was to find out what is going on in the respective colleges related to
    IEEE and what is the participation of IEEE Student Branch.
8. Student members of IEEE SREC Student Branch attended Jayamukhi Institute of
    Technological Sciences for an expert lecture on “Robotics”, delivered by NIT
    IEEE student members on18-12-2010 & 19-12-2010
9. The Exe-Com members of SREC IEEE student branch along with the counselor
    visited Varadha Reddy College of Engineering to bring awareness of IEEE and
    also to initiate student branch on 20-08-2010.
10. The Exe-Com members of SREC IEEE student branch along with the counselor
    visited Sumathi Reddy Institute Technology for women to bring awareness of
    IEEE and also to initiate student branch on 28-08-2010.
11. Student members of IEEE SREC Student Branch attended Jayamukhi Institute of
    Technological Sciences for an expert lecture on “Wireless Sensors”, delivered by
    NIT IEEE student members on 28-08-2010
12. Mr. Darshan Madipelli, III-Year ECE Student was selected as Microsoft Student

      4. A two day tutorial on “Electromagnetic wave theory” for II-Year ECE Students
         was organized on 12th & 13th March 2011 Dr. Anajaneyulu, Assoc. Prof., ECE
         Dept., NIT, Warangal Delivered on the topic.
      5. A talk on “Graduating in the West” was organized for the IV Year outgoing
         students on 18-03-2011 Dr. Srinivas Palanki, Professor and Chair, Department of
         Chemical and Bio moclecular Engg., University of Alabama, USA Delivered the
         talk.
      6. A one day National Level Technical Symposium “ULTRIVA’11”,
         “Electrospark-11”, “Mechquest-11”, “ Infospark-11”, “Amogha-11”, “Artemis-
         11” was organized by various departments of SR Engineering College on 20th
         March 2011
      7. A one day workshop “Microsoft Dream Spark Yatra 2011” was organized by
         Microsoft Partners (MSP) on 08-03-2011 for the students of various engineering
         colleges.
8. Mr. Darshan M as students of III-Year ECE was nominated as the student zonal
   representative of IEEE (Warangal Zone)
9. A technical training program “ Digital filters and its application to DSP”
   delivered by Dr. Kishore Kumar, NIT, Warangal on 23rd March 2011
10. A one day tutorial on “MATLAB and its applications to engineering” delivered
    by Mr. Prem Kumar, Application Engineer, Academy of design and architecture,
    Hyderabad on 12th May 2011
11. A one day tutorial on “Power efficient VLIW Embedded Processor
    Architectures” was delivered by Prof. Santhosh Pande, Georgia Tech, Atlanta,
    USA on 16th June 2011
12. An Educational tour to North India was organized between 17th – 28th June 2011.
    the industrial visit to North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL), New Delhi was
    scheduled on 20th & 21st June 2011
      The Industrial visit included.

    industrial Perspective” by Mr. Srimannarayana Nallabelli, Senior Design
    Engineer, NVIDIA, Sanjose, USA on 29-07-2011.
15. SREC-IEEE students branch was identified as one of the active branches and was
    invited to participate in the “VIBRANT student branch exhibition” at section
    student congress – 2011 on 13th & 14th August, 2011.
