Online PR News – 13-July-2012 The Antique Tribal Art Dealers Association (ATADA) has invited William
                                   –
Waites of Fort Myers, FL to present a program concerning the use of Social Media (Facebook, Twitter,
Pinterest, etc.) to market Tribal Art Dealer brands and products.

The meeting will be held in Santa Fe, NM on August 10, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe Convention
Center. Attendees will include some of the country's most prominent professional dealers in antique and
contemporary tribal arts. Members come from across the United States for the Annual Meeting of the
organization, which takes place in conjunction with the Santa Fe Indian Market in Santa Fe, NM.

Waites has been a dealer in tribal art since 1980 and engaged in Social Media marketing for his own tribal
art online galleries since 2001. His galleries have been online since 1994, and have been offering authentic
tribal art in physical venues since 1983.

Waites commented, "The trade in tribal art - Native American jewelry , Native American pottery ,
Native American carvings and African and Australian tribal arts - has become worldwide in its
scope. With the extension of social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest to global audiences,
fluency in using these media to communicate is increasingly critical. It isn't easy and it benefits from hands-
on involvement. That's what I hope to impart to the assembled dealers in Santa Fe."

ATADA is an international organization comprised of collectors, individuals and companies that acquire and
sell the world's finest examples of art from tribal cultures. Members must adhere to a Code of Ethics for
offering authentic tribal material culture with honesty and integrity.
