Conditions:
Eligibility: - Students enrolled in a course with supporting documents.
- Fares are applicable to accompany parent(s).
- Parent(s) must travel together on the same flight of either outbound or inbound.
Child fare: 75% of adult fare ( Applicable to Add-on fares & Business class surcharge)
Fare Basis: 1) When doing GDS/manual pricing, use YX2R / YX2R + YDRT / YDRT
Student : Student Fare Basis - "SD" ( or the Lowest applicable fare basis if "SD" through fare is not available)
EXCEPT LON - ' BSDRT ' & FUK - Normal Economy
Child under 12 years : Lowest applicable Child Fare.
Parents : Lowest applicable fare.

Open Jaw Open-jaw within UK&Europe, N.America, S.W.Pacific, Japan is permitted at half round trip basis provided
two fares are under the same tour code. The most restrictive Min Stay & Max Stay will be applied for the whole journey.
Fare application: Refer outbound sector.
(If the routing of student ticket is open-jaw, parent ticket could be a ticket with mono destination with
either inbound or outbound same as the student's.)
Upselling Upselling "Class Code" is permitted on outbound or inbound journey that listed on the same faresheet, please add the fare difference
of the upselling journey to the base fare. Departure date of the first outbound sector determines the applicable upselling sector.
( If interline sector involved, upselling must be made in conjunction with CX international sector. Eg. HKG-CX-LON-BA-MAN )
Flight restrictions of the base fare must be observed if any.
If a routing involve open jaw : Before upselling, fare for open jaw routing has to be constructed.
Restricted Flights: CX Codeshare flights - Valid on flights operated by AA, BA, JL, KA only.
AA, BA & QF NOT applicable on oneworld Restricted Flights.
NZ - NOT applicable on codeshare flight ranges 3000-4999, 7900-7998 & 9000-9999.
Ticket Endorsement: ** Please state the applicable 'Period of Travel' & 'Ticket Validity' in the endorsements box. ** PLUS
T5, STUDENT FARE, NONENDORSABLE, NONREROUTABLE, NONREFUNDABLE,
HKG/XXX/HKG VALID ON CX ONLY. (XXX = CX Online Cities)
NO SHOW FEE HKDXXX APPLIED. ( XXX = HKD600 Short Haul / HKD1200 Long Haul )
Additional endorsement for parent's ticket ~
HKG/XXX OR XXX/HKG MUST TRAVEL WITH (Student's name).
Rebooking Permitted. Please remind passenger to cancel the original flight before departure. Otherwise, No Show fee applied.
NoShow Subject to NoShow fee - HKD600 (Short haul) & HKD1200 (Long haul)
Refund : For totally unused ticket ~ Subject to cancellation fee HKD600 (Short haul) & HKD1200 (Long haul),
For partially used ticket ~ Non-refundable
Supporting Document (e/g PNR or ET history of the flight cancellation) is required, otherwise 'No Show' fee will also be applied.
UM Service: Apply 100% of adult fare plus UM service fee & valid on CX Operating Flights only.
(IF interline sector is involved, UM fare application / service fee will subject to the requirement of individual airline.)
OSI: Tour Code of the applicable fare must be shown in each booking made under OSI element. ( E.g. "OSI CX PROM HKG9100FF530" )
Baggage Allowance Excess baggage allowance of 15kgs/1pc for all CX sectors will be offered to all students travelling on CX/KA Operating Flights ONLY
**Request should be made through Sales Office at least ONE DAY before departure.**
(If priced by ATPCO or with fare basis BSDRT, Excess Baggage would be reflected on the face value of the ticket.)
(For interline's baggage allowance, please refer “Baggage Provisions Selection Criteria” - Resolution 302.)
Remarks: 1. Fare inclusive of HK Security Service Charge. Subject to applicable taxes and other surcharges.
2. Flight schedules are subject to change. Please refer to your CRS for the latest update.
3. Eligible subclasses for mileage accrual on CX - C,D,I,B,H,K,M,L,V
4. Confirmed reservation is required for entire journey. No open dated ticket is allowed.
5. No Child discount is applied for rebooking/noshow/cancellation/handling fee and other charges.
6. Departure date of the first outbound sector determines the applicable seasonality for the entire journey.
7. Higher fare is permitted for travel in lower fares seasonality, however, no change of seasonality will be allowed once ticketed.
8. Rates are subject to change.
Others: Supporting documents e.g. Student Identity, Student Certificate or Student Visa , etc. are required,
please submit photo copy of the supporting documents with ticket no. to CX Sales Office c/o Agency Sales Team
for verification on monthly basis. [Birth Certificate is also required if travel with parent(s)].
