                                  Lodging Reservations
Starting Thursday, May 29, 2008, clubs may make reservations for lodging on a first come, first served
basis. Deposits, cancellations, and attrition policies are listed below for the different properties. Once
your reservations have been confirmed, you will receive a contract directly from the Property
Management Company. You will send all deposits and payments directly to the Property
Management Company. The NBS will not accept any lodging deposits.

Lodging request will be taken starting at 12:00 noon Eastern Daylight Time (11:00am Central
Time, 10:00am Mountain Time and 9:00am Pacific time) on MAY 29th. Lodging will be allocated
on a first come / first serve basis. Dean Cook, NBS Lodging Coordinator will make every effort
to respond to confirm your lodging as quickly as possible.

The lodging request form should be e-mailed to Dean at Dean@nbs.org at noon Eastern
Daylight Time on Thursday, May 29th. Please provide a phone number where you can be
reached during that day in the event that she needs to contact you.

The lodging deposits and cancellation policies are per individual properties, and are enclosed
with this document.

DEPOSIT SCHEDULE
Failure to adhere to this deposit schedule by National Brotherhood of Skiers, Inc. will be deemed a
cancellation and subject to the liquidated damages as outlined below.
$100 per bedroom (so a Hotel Room would be $100 per room and a 2 Bedroom would be $200 per unit,
etc.) upon booking (deposit due with the contract)
50% of room revenue due 120 days out 10/3/08
Final Payment with taxes and porterage fees due 60 days out at 12/2/08


CANCELLATION:
If National Brotherhood of Skiers, Inc. finds it necessary to cancel this event, National Brotherhood of
Skiers, Inc. agrees to pay Destination Resorts Snowmass the following amounts as liquidated damages
and not as a penalty.
Cancellation occurring 0 to 60 days prior to arrival, liquidated damages in the amount of one hundred
percent of the "Anticipated Unit Night and Banquet Food and Beverage Revenue Figures" will be due,
plus applicable taxes and service charges.
 Cancellation occurring 61 to 120 days prior to arrival, liquidated damages in the amount of fifty percent
of the "Anticipated Unit Night and Banquet Food and Beverage Revenue Figures" will be due, plus
applicable taxes and service charges.
Cancellation occurring 121 to 159 days prior to arrival, liquidated damages in the amount of twenty
percent of the "Anticipated Unit Night and Banquet Food and Beverage Revenue Figures" will be due,
plus applicable taxes and service charges.
Cancellation occurring between the time of acceptance of this contract and 160 days prior to arrival, will
result in the loss of all advance deposits.


ATTRITION:
National Brotherhood of Skiers, Inc. must produce at least 80% of contracted sleeping room and banquet
food and beverage revenue. Any deficit will be billed to the National Brotherhood of Skiers, Inc.’s
master account as liquidated damages for underperformance, plus taxes and service charges. A written
request is required for this reduction and must be received 60 days prior to your Groups arrival date.
(3) Crestwood Condominiums
Deposit Required:

Equal to ½ Total Stay Less Taxes and Service Charge

Cancellation Policy:
      Within 30 days of arrival:              Loss of Deposit
      Prior to 30 days before arrival:        $50 Handling Fee/Refund of remaining deposit

 Taxes and Service Charge = 19.3%
(12.3% State & Local Sales Tax & 7% Service Charge)

DEPOSIT POLICY
The Crestwood requires a pre-payment, based on a percentage of the total lodging rate according to the
following schedule:

The Crestwood requires a $500.00 “good faith” deposit upon the signing of this contract. 60 days prior
to arrival, 50% of the estimated lodging total is due. Approximately 40 days prior to arrival you will
receive an invoice from The Crestwood stating the total amount due 30 days prior to arrival for the final
payment.

GROUP CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
The Crestwood’s group booking requires extensive advance preparation. It is difficult to resell the space
that you have reserved, unless we are notified far in advance. It is equally difficult to assess our actual
loss. Accordingly, cancellation of the group, change in dates or major decreases in attendance which
exceed 25% of the original booking will be subject to a liquidated damages schedule as set forth below:

Cancellation

If cancelled 30 or more days prior to arrival, deposit is refunded less one nights lodging per room
cancelled.
If cancelled within 30 days, the total balance is non-refundable

Group:
 Good faith deposit of $1,000.00 due with signed contract.
1 nights lodging per room reserved due 90 days prior to arrival.
Remaining balance due with rooming list 30 days prior to arrival.

Good faith deposit is fully non-refundable if the entire group is cancelled. Rooms cancelled 90 or
more days prior to arrival have no penalty.

Rooms cancelled between 90- 30 days prior to arrival are subject to a penalty of one nights lodging
per room cancelled.

Rooms cancelled within 30 days of arrival are fully non-refundable.

Group is responsible for all nights reserved.
No refunds or credit will be applied for late arrivals or early departures.
(5) The Timberline Condominiums
Individual Cancellation and Deposit Policies:
30 days or more cancellation – 16.5% cancel fee
30 days or less – non-refundable (unless we are able to sell out all the condos and resell their room –
very rare but can happen)
50% deposit is due time of booking
50% deposit is due 30 days prior to arrival
If a group is cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival, the group is charged a 10% cancellation fee. If it
is within 30 days of arrival, it’s non-refundable.
As for deposits, depending on the contract, we typically take $1,000 at the time of booking and then split
the balance into two deposits between the time of booking and 30-days prior to arrival. If it is a space
available contract and individuals are responsible for booking their own units, we take 50% of their
balance at the time of booking and the other 50% 30-days prior to arrival.




(6) Laurelwood and Interlude
Group Policy:
8 rooms or more a group contract will be generated.

Group Deposit
$500 deposit to hold space, refundable.
45 days prior to arrival full payment is due with rooming list.
CXL inside 45 days no refund of deposit or payment

Individual Reservation
Less than 8 rooms 50% due at time of booking
Outside 45 days of arrival date refund less $50.00 CXL fee
Inside 45 of arrival no refund
