Welcome to the Radisson Blu Hotel Bristol 2011 Christmas
and New Year brochure. I would like to thank you for considering
our hotel for your festive celebrations and we would be delighted
to use our experience and ideas to assist you in making your event
a success.

Festive celebrations come in all shapes and sizes and there is
something for everyone. We have menus for festive lunch and
dinner in our Filini restaurant, ideas for the office party night and
of course, the all important last night of the year.

If you and your team are too busy for a party before Christmas,
then we also have an offer for January, when there is a little more
time and energy for a very memorable party.

Our team will be very happy to discuss your individual requirements
and help you plan an event that really stands out. Merry Christmas

Stay with us on your party night and we’ll offer you a special room
rate of £89.00 bed and full breakfast in the restaurant (subject to
availability). Reservations need to be booked 28 days in advance
and fully prepaid. Alternatively, we can offer our best available rate
of the day if booked within 28 days of your event.

This rate also applies to those visiting friends and family in the city
over the festive period. Upgrades to Business Class rooms and
Suites on the 17th floor available on request and are subject to
rates and availability at time of booking.

                  CHRISTMAS PARTY NIGHTS – £39.50 per person

                   Saffron scented parsnip soup with parsley chantilly (V)
                    Cool poached salmon on a vegetable terrine with a
                   consomme of vine plum tomato and a quail’s egg jelly
                     Golden beetroot carpaccio, beetroot confit, goats
                        cheese bon bon and micro herb salads (V)

                                    MAIN COURSE
                    Locally farmed Dorset turkey roulade, stuffed with
                   herbed sausage meat and wrapped in smoked bacon,
                  which is roasted and sliced and served on buttery mash
                       with a homemade cranberry and port gravy
                   Braised shoulder of lamb with steamed white cabbage,
                               a potato fondant and mint jus
                   A filo pastry case filled with a red and yellow pepper
                    confit, caramelized red onions and sautéed spinach,
                   covered with Gloucestershire camembert and baked
                                     under the grill (V)
                  An additional selection of seasonal vegetables and roast
                           potatoes will be served to your table

                       Homemade Dorset cream cheese cake with
                           winter berry raspberry sorbet
                   Glazed orange and lemon tart with vanilla ice cream

Celebrate with friends and work colleagues either as an exclusive
event for your company or with others. Maximum numbers for a
private event are 120 in the Jupiter Suite or up to 200 guests when
using the whole conference floor with smaller team groups in our
additional rooms facing out onto the main reception floor. See

available throughout December.

                  GALA DINNER MENU – £45.00 per person
                       Filini sparkling cocktail on arrival at 8.00pm

                                 AMUSE BOUCHE
                 Zucchini, aubergine and mozzarella terrine, micro herbs

                  Seared hand dived scallops with wilted spinach, a sun
                          choke puree and coffee bean sauce
                 Red pepper mouse, avocado with sushi rice, carrot and
                  lemon grass panacota, with marinated kumquat (V)

                   Winter vegetable chowder soup with a parmesan
                                and poppy seed crisp
                       MAIN COURSE
          Braised shin of Aberdeen angus beef with baby
               vegetables, potato gratin and pancetta

  Wild mushroom strudel with baby vegetable potato gratin (V)

                       CHRISTMAS PARTY NIGHTS AT THE
                       RADISSON BLU HOTEL BRISTOL
                       All rates and bookings are subject to availability.

                       Provisional reservations must be confirmed within 14 days of booking by
                       paying the non-refundable, non-transferable deposit referred to below.
                       Failure to pay the deposit will result in the cancellation of your event
                       without prior notice.

                       The balance of the event cost is payable by the dates set out below.
                       Deposits and final payments; cheques and postal orders should be
                       forwarded by post. To pay cash, the Meetings and Events office is open
                       from 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday. Please note, one cheque is to be
                       written for all deposits and final payments – the hotel cannot accept
                       multiple cheques.

                       Should you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify the hotel in
                       writing and the hotel will be entitled to retain your deposit. Any paid
                       deposits cannot be offset against any other services or products. Should
                       the hotel receive your cancellation less than 4 weeks before the event
                       date, the full event cost will remain payable.

                       The event reservation is confirmed only once the Radisson Blu Hotel
                       Bristol has cashed payment and confirmation has been sent to the guest.

                       The hotel reserves the right to amalgamate Christmas events to ensure
                       appropriate numbers. We also reserve the right to move the event to a

                       smaller or larger function suite should numbers dictate.

                       Tables are multiples of 10. Parties of less than 10 may be asked to share.

                       Deposits and final payments are strictly non refundable and cannot be
                       offset against other services or products.

                       Minimum age for persons attending evening functions is 18.

                       The Management reserves the right to close the Bar at any time.

                        Whilst we are always happy to accommodate guests with special dietary
                       requirements (notice must be given to the hotel at least 2 weeks prior to
                       your planned event), the menu details in our brochure are set and menu
                       options cannot be substituted.

                       The Management of the hotel reserves the right to refuse entry to the
                       hotel. In addition, the hotel reserves the right to charge the organiser,
                       company or individual for any damages caused by unreasonable behaviour.

                       All details are correct at the time of going to print; however they maybe
                       subject to change without prior notice.

                       Special accommodation rates quoted are available only to guests
                       attending Christmas events at the hotel. Cancellation of accommodation
                       up to 10% of rooms free of charge before 4pm on the day of arrival.
                       Separate terms & conditions apply for group cancellations of 10 rooms
                       or more.

                       The following cards are acceptable for payment – Visa, MasterCard, Diners,
                       American Express and Switch.

                       Christmas Party Events - All bookings must be confirmed within 14
                       days of paying a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of £10.00 per
                       person. The non-refundable balance is to be paid no less than 4 weeks
                       prior to the event. If booked less than 4 weeks prior to the event, the
                       balance must be paid for in full.

                       Menu choices are due no less than 2 weeks prior to the date of the
                       function and sent directly to the Meetings and Events department.
