GRADING CRITERION
Frameworks include the alignment of reading, writing, science, math and technology standards.

Assessment will include peer for group projects, authentic, and performance based. Students will
be graded on their ability to apply their newly acquired skills through the completion of quality
digital communications, career oriented documents, and business simulation projects. Every
student has the opportunity to meet grade-level standards or above. Failure is Not an Option;
students don’t get to choose not to work. Thus, students will receive an “I” on any assignment
not turned in, and One or more “I”s will result in an “I” grade for any report period.

Grading Scale Final Grades
Daily Work 55% 90 – 100 = A
Assessment 30% 80 – 89 = B
*Work Habits/Leadership 15% 70 – 79 = C

*Work Skills include work habits, attendance, attitude and leadership. Students will earn points
for each day they are productive, or loose points if they are not productive (refer to signed class
expectation form).

MODIFICATIONS FOR RESOURCE STUDENTS
Students needing more time may take advantage of pre-arranged lab time. Self-paced learning
materials will be available for independent work as needed. Assignments will be modified so that
the requirements are fair to the individual’s ability. Advanced learners will have the opportunity
to work individually or in teams of two on a project of interest. Seat selection will accommodate
best the visually and hearing impaired; text work and handouts are available in larger print.
Lesson plans include multiple intelligence’s and diversity to meet all the levels of learning styles.

Classroom and Technology Expectations forms must be signed by student and parent. The course
