Indian products make their mark in Malaysia
FIEO (Eastern Region) participated
in the INTRADE Malaysia 2011 held
from November 22-24, 2011 in Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia. Twenty six dele-
gates from 13 Indian companies deal-
ing in consumer products and services
participated in the fair. Besides India,
the other countries that took part in
the fair were Indonesia, Nigeria,
Bangladesh, Japan, Hong Kong, the
UAE, Korea, China, Singapore and
Malaysia. Mrs Soma Chaudhury, Coor-
dinator, FIEO, Eastern Region, accom-
panied the Indian delegation to
facilitate them during the fair.
The product profile of Indian dele-
gates varied from agri products to en-

New guide to doing business in Iraq
The Embassy of India in Baghdad, Iraq, has sent FIEO a new guide to doing business in Iraq. “The New
Iraq: 2012 Discovering Business" was launched in Dubai and London recently. Published by Allurentis,
in association with the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), the 140-page guide contains a wealth of case
studies, commentary and data. The guide is hosted under the Member Zone Area Section of FIEO web-
