   Orga Systems is a supplier of pre and post-paid billing systems, OPSC Gold. They have more than 40 customers
   worldwide, serving over 350m subscribers.

   As BSS Consultant, I am involved in the specification and design of the billing system. I am also part of the architect
   and design forum, which has direct effect on the future roadmap of the product.

   To date, I have been specifically involved in the analysis and design of the Payments, Collections, and adjustments
   modules.

   I have also created a migration scope document describing the process that should be used for the migration of
   customers from legacy billing systems to OPSC Gold.

                        Vodafone Ireland Plc. (formally Eircell), Dublin, Ireland.

   Vodafone Ireland is Ireland's leading mobile phone operator with a base of over 2.4m pre and post-paid subscribers.
   Reporting directly to the Billing Development Manager, my responsibilities included overseeing complex voice and data
   related projects following internal Vodafone project delivery methodologies whilst completing a variety of day-to-day
   support tasks.

   As billing SME and solutions architect with Vodafone Ireland, I was involved in virtually all major and minor projects
   such as “Mobile Broadband propositions”, “International Daily Data Roaming Plans”, “Multiple Bundles (Voice, Data,
   SMS, MMS)” and a new customer facing invoice layout and presentation platform, through to BAU (Business as Usual)
   activity requests such as implementing and provisioning new package plans and bundles, trouble shooting billing
   issues, acting as 3rd line support to billing operations and liaising and coordinating with suppliers and third parties. My
   involvement in these projects ranged from the requirement gathering phase through to producing high and low level
   system designs, developing, testing and deploying, either in-house or via the billing solution vendor, Convergys (Jupiter
   Billing System). I also provided support for technical and consultancy activities whilst attached to the Billing
   Development department.

       Achievements Included…

              High level involvement in the designing, testing and implementation of a new printed and on-line bill
               design.

              Identified that a new system to create new tariffs quickly and simply rather than error prone manual entry
               was required – designed, created and implemented said system.
              Created software to handle bulk multiple requests for adding / removing services to customers and
               subscribers.
              Designed and created many of the utilities that are in daily use in the Billing Development Department,
               including complex software to reverse-out call files.
              Designed and developed a front-end system for the testing of delivered APIs.
           Specified, developed and deployed a Call Analysis system for customers and subscribers to view their
            calling patterns.
           General day-to-day maintenance and ‘business as usual’ work as and when requested by other
            departments. High level of work with the Revenue Assurance department, reacting to their requirements.
           Converted the billing system to the Euro currency in a 600+ person-day project, which was implemented on
            budget, on schedule, and with no software exceptions reported.

Later projects included the creation of Smartphone data plans (iPhones, HTC and Blackberry). Analysis was also
required in order to satisfy business requirements around these functions. I was also responsible for the creation and
deployment of regular jobs to ensure that the plans were correctly provisioned to subscribers. This ensured that
Vodafone was the “Home of the Smartphone”. These activities (and others too numerous to mention) were made in
conjunction with the business stakeholders – and were dealt with from gathering requirements, through to coding,
testing and deployment.

Through business, technical and industry knowledge, I liaised with the different business areas to achieve the very best
from the billing systems to ensure business requirements and expectations are fully met.

When Vodafone Ireland bought a fixed line operator (Perlico), I created a “discussion document” and also a provided a
proof-of-concept to ensure that the billing system was able to rate and bill Fixed Line / DSL traffic as well as mobile.
This was to ensure that if required at a later date, a converged bill could be produced without any undue issues. The
discussion document also took into account the fixed line inventory being held within the main billing system. I also
investigated the printed/on-line bill and analysed the changes that would be required. Payments and collections were
also reviewed as part of investigation. This proved very useful to the business and technical teams.

I also worked with the “Solas Project” team as migrations solution architect. This was a 35 million Euro Billing
Replacement Programme, which was to replace the present Billing System and other legacy systems with the “state of
the art” Comverse Kenan FX billing system.

I was involved in the RFP process of selecting the new billing system (scoring different supplier solutions, estimating
the effort involved in interfacing to existing front-end systems etc), working with Business teams and various suppliers
and putting together requirements documents, agreeing the sign-off for the requirements and solution documents with
the business and the Comverse project teams.

During the migration project process, I was responsible for the mapping of legacy systems to Kenan FX, writing and
testing extraction code; specifying and performing data cleanse activities and was also involved in performance testing.

    diAx (now Sunrise) was a start up mobile phone operator. Reporting to the IT Delivery Manager, my responsibilities
    included overseeing high priority, high profile projects to very strict and short deadlines.

    Provided and managed 24/7 billing system production support to resolve call rating, billing, and end of day processing
    failures. The billing system used was a Convergys solution.

        Major Achievements…
            Restored SLA compliance after the billing system regularly exceeded existing capacity by converting from a
               single database to a much more efficient multiple database environment within a six week deadline with no
               software exception reported when deployed.
             Assisted the business to resume revenue collection after a three week invoicing delay by implementing billing
               system support after the bureau supplier was unable to resolve failures.
             Facilitated the migration of a 500k+ subscriber base from the existing Jupiter billing system to the ADC
               CBPO Oracle billing system by designing, developing, testing and delivering the migration software
             Designed and created a data cleanse module to cleanse customer and subscriber data.
             Ensured that 90k+ debtors owing CHF3m entered the collection process by implementing debt collection
               software and creating the associated business processes.
