Partnering Website – Strategic Plan
        Vision: Partnering practices used nationwide in all facets of work to enhance communication and business relationships.

          Mission: Elevate the standard of partnering practices through awareness using marketing and educational methods.

                            Customer: DOT’s; Other Industry Partners; AASHTO Members and Committees

                               Goal: Increase the adoption and use of Partnering Principles & Practices.

 Objective 1.1: Educate key customers and partners on the benefits and methods of adopting partnering principles.
 Strategies:
 1) Develop a Partnering Handbook.


 Objective 1.2: Assist key customers in the adoption of partnering principles and practices.
 Strategies:
 1) Develop guidelines for an outreach program to assist customers with partnering requests
 2)Maintain state participation on SCoQ partnering subcommittee.

 Objective 1.3: Serve as a liaison to NPHQ and other AASHTO committees to enhance the understanding of partnering
                 principles and practices between organizations.
 Strategies:
 1) Participate in activities associated with NPHQ-teleconference call, subcommittees, etc.
 2)Work with other AASHTO committees to promote value of partnering.

 Objective 1.4: Provide a Standardized Partnering Measurement System to the Transportation Industry
 Strategies:
 1) Determine the current state of the practice
 2) Review current Measurement Tools
 3) Recommend a Partnering Measurement System to include in the Partnering Handbook
