 On Thursday, May 17th, 2012 through Saturday, May 19th, 2012, - THE FILManthropy
 SOCIETY presents another premiere fundraising event, the third annual FILManthropy
 Festival - “Open Your Eyes”. This unique event is a canvas for instigating and inspiring
 change by showcasing films that inspire, educate, raise awareness and motivate,
 so that audiences may open their minds and their hearts to creating a better world.

 Filmmakers selected to participate in this pioneering event vie for “The Torch
         ”
 Awards, along with prizes, and the opportunity to support their favorite charity.
 Charities supported by these selected filmmakers are encouraged to set up
 information tables during the film festival and at the evening awards celebration.
 One hundred percent of the Event’s net proceeds will be distributed to charities
 supported by the Torch Award winners as follows: 45% to the charity supported
 by the Torch Award winner for Best Feature Film, 45% to the charity supported
 by the Torch Award winner for Best Short Film, and 10% to the charity supported
 by the Torch Award winner for Audience Favorite Film.

 Films will be presented at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, followed by an evening
 award celebration featuring dinner, entertainment, and a silent auction. The Festival
 will present its “2012 FILManthropist of the Year” award, honoring a high-profile
 philanthropist who is equally as involved in the entertainment industry.

              The FILManthropy Festival mission is a
              means to use, support and promote film
              as a way to help make the world a better
              place while, at the same time, honoring
              the very medium in which those issues
              are presented.

         FILManthropy Festival seeks films which explore the
         human journey; uplift and/or provoke thought; inspire
         change in the world; raise awareness; inspire community
         and/or world service; educate audiences; motivate by
         acting as an agent for positive change; and/or highlight
         important local and global social, economical, medical,
         educational and spiritual issues. FILManthropy films
         should not only help make the world a better place,
         but raise awareness of topics, causes, and need-to-
         know stories, otherwise unknown.

         FILManthropy’ s tagline - “Open Your Eyes” - not only
         encourages patrons to literally open their eyes and
         watch the films, it solicits them to see the world around
         them, and underscores the type of films the Festival
         looks to showcase. Altogether, the films selected will
         move the audience to open, through their eyes, their
         hearts and minds in order to help make the world a
         better place.

        The FILManthropy Society is reframing how the
        world sees social issues…setting a new scene,
        by signaling awareness to the overlooked causes
        of the world through film. We do this through our
        Community Outreach action, Awareness Mixers,
        Charitable Goods Program, Distinguished Speaker
        Series and last but not least, our beloved
        FILManthropy Festival. The organization grew
        into existence out of a need for an organization
        that could not only affect positive change in the
        world, but could also be a place that allowed and
        nurtured those changes to take place. Members
        are proactive in volunteering their time and energy
        to benefit causes that are on the forefront of
        attention as well as those that are overlooked.

 We realize there is a global economic crunch, but at the same
 time there is a global awakening of philanthropic awareness and
 companies are looking for ways to not only promote their products
 intelligently but responsibly and to a caring consumer.

 In past years it was just about a celebrity name, but most of you
 know the nature of our events already provides those. We’d like to
 offer you something more for your in-kind donations. We’d like to
 offer that your in-kind donations are being distributed to worthy
 consumers who not only return to those items they like and buy
 at the retail level, but consumers who also know how to spread
 the word. And to top it off these consumers are here because they
 care about making the world a better place.

 Thank you for supporting. Your donation of goods or services will be
 given away in one hundred fifty (150) gift bags and fifty (50) VIP gift
 bags. In-kind donations are tax deductible and will be given away to
 attendees of the event.

 In addition to the above, there will be three (3) winning Prize
 Packages (A Torch Award for The Best Feature Film, The Best Short
 Film, and the Audience Favorite Film) and an Honoree Basket to our
 2012 FILManthropist of the Year and previous FILManthropist of the
 Year Anne Archer. Therefore, if there is something
 special for these five (5) recipients you would like to include, please

 All donations are due no later than Friday April 27th, 2012.
