                                                                                                          This Standard was prepared by the Association’s Committee on the Analysis of Body
                                                                                                          Fluids for Metals Content under the direction of the Chemical Standards Board, to
                                                                                                          provide a rapid method for the determination of the cadmium content of human blood.
                                                                                                          The committee organized an inter-laboratory test program to obtain information on the
                                                                                                          precision of the method. The following laboratories participated in the test program to
                                                                                                          provide the data given in Table 2:
