We believe that there are students in our district who would qualify for free and/or
reduced lunch if the free/reduced lunch application were submitted to our schools.

Not only does eligibility for free/reduced lunch help the student and his family, but it
helps our district as well. Many grants and other types of funding are based on the school
district’s percentage of students eligible for free/reduced lunch. Even if we know that a
student would qualify for free/reduced lunch, we cannot code that student as such unless
we have a completed application.

Eligibility for free lunch does not mean that the student must participate in the free lunch
program. Please help us and our students by completing the application. If your student
has not yet completed an application, you may pick one up or arrange to have one sent to
you by calling the school office. Thanks.
