Working with clients to explore their contribution to the situation they want results in, whether
a challenge or opportunity. Personal responsibility is fundamental; regardless of what the
rest of the team or organization is doing
Using a hybrid of tools, models and approaches. Some of these originated on the back of an
envelope, others from an academic or philosophical background and others from all walks of
professional development….it’s that they work for the client in their everyday life that’s
Coaching has to produce results for the client, it is a business tool, and requires a return on
investment for the sponsor organization.
Ginny left stockbroking eleven years ago to become a full time coach. She trained for two years
with CoachU, the largest coach training organization in the world. She then taught for five years
on its faculty and mentored many new coaches coming into the business.
She worked entirely by telephone for the first five years of her coaching career, developing this
into a combination with face-to-face coaching on moving to Wales six years ago. Living in the
Black Mountains she works in Wales, London and other GB locations. She also operates
internationally, from the States all the way to Hong Kong by telephone, with the largest body of
clients being in Europe. She has developed an extensive coach network across continents which
supports her significant professional development on an ongoing basis.
In reviewing why leaders, executives and managers come to work with her, the following is said:
“She sets the bar very high, I know I am going to be challenged very directly in a way that I can
“We cover some intensely difficult areas in a light and highly impactful way, she doesn’t seem to
be afraid to go there”
“From the first moment we spoke she seemed to get me, I trusted her immediately and we were
quickly talking about the really important stuff”
In 2005 she was accredited a Master Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation, then
one of only eight in the UK. She coaches full time and also speaks on various topics connected
to coaching and business.
