Presentation for LAMS JISC Evaluation Conference, 11th January, 2005
                     Aston University, Birmingham, UK
The Challenge: Can we reverse this situation?
      A Different Overview Presentation

• At a LAMS schools trial meeting at the Specialist Schools Trust in
  November 2004, I outlined:
    – History of the development of LAMS
    – The Reasons why LAMS is different
    – Future technology, business model and pedagogy issues
    – PPTs at http://www.uklams.net/documents/9-11-04-LAMS.SST.Nov04.ppt

• I was going to present something along these lines today, but
instead feel that a review of practical issues in using LAMS,
especially new and upcoming features, may be more helpful given
the current stage of the trial
• NB: Apart from Preview and Survey, all other examples are works
in progress which may not work out as suggested here!
          Where LAMS is heading…

• Now
   – Preview & Survey
