Next Face to Face Meeting……… January 9 - 11, 2006, Jackson, Mississippi – Hosted by Cingular

 LNPA WG’s Architecture Planning Team (APT) Restarted:
.
 APT held their first meeting following the LNPAWG. The discussion centered around end-to-end throughput
requirements to meet the demands of large port transactions, e.g., network reconfigurations.
 The group will continue to discuss development of a large volume end-to-end test in the production
        environments.

 The Wireless Testing Subcommittee (WTSC) Restarted:

 Teresa Patton from Cingular, and Mohamed Samater from T-Mobile, volunteered to head up WTSC.
 The WTSC is restarted to develop the test plan for WICIS Release 3.1 and 4.0 as well as establish the testing
time line, schedule the carrier testing, and monitor the testing to determine progress, problems and/or issues
        and resolutions.

 NANC LNP Provisioning Flows Review:

 The NANC flows were reopened to include the recent functionality implemented in recent NPAC Releases.
 When completed, the revised flows will be submitted to NANC and the FCC for approval.
 The LNPAWG will await guidance and ruling from the FCC before addressing VoIP providers in the NANC
        Flows.
 Attached is the LNPA WG Position Paper on VoIP Porting Obligations, submitted to NANC in
March 2005, and included in the LNPA WG’s Number Portability Best Practices Document.
 A similar position was also reflected in the NANC Future of Numbering Working Group’s VoIP
Report submitted to the FCC in August 2005.

 . Video Relay Service (VRS):

 According to hearing impaired, VRS users require VRS provider interoperability for ubiquitous communication
with other VRS users, and the ability to be reached by both hearing impaired and non-hearing impaired callers
via a unique geographic 10-digit telephone number assigned to them.
 Hands on Communication, an advocate for VRS users, submitted an NPAC Change Order request to the
         LNPA WG.
 The VRS Change Order was accepted. The LNPAWG will develop the technical requirements to be ready
should the NPAC be selected by the industry as the database for this service. Any information/requirements
developed at the LNPAWG will be shared and coordinated with the INC.

 PIM 32 and PIM 50 Report to NANC:

 The LNPA WG has been unable to resolve PIM 32 – Porting Reseller Numbers, and PIM 50 – Customer
Service Record Too Large, and seeks guidance from NANC on how best to proceed.
 The attached LNPA WG report on PIM 32 and PIM 50 provides background information on the issues and the
         customer impact.
