for HIM unit. Simultaneously responsible for direction and management of the Unisys
New Jersey MMIS contracts. Served as the principal point of contact for the State
executives concerning Unisys performance, responsibilities and contract activities. This
position had full P & L responsibility with annual growth/performance objectives.
Completed a successful financial and relationship turn-around of the New Jersey Fiscal
Agent eliminating a $20 million debt on the contract and establishing New Jersey as a
premier reference account for Unisys.

Responsible for overall direction and management of the Payer Revenue Service Group
business unit, including the TPL Recovery operations unit and the CDR credit balance

Responsible for management of the Unisys Florida State Employees Insurance contract in
Tallahassee, Florida, providing third party administration services for the State’s self-
insured health insurance program. Worked directly with the Unisys lobbyists, testified at
Senate and House oversight committee hearings, and represented Unisys at meetings with
the Governor’s office staff and key Senators and Representatives. The position required
representing Unisys to the media in Florida through television interviews, newspaper
editorial boards, and radio interviews.

Primary mission was to profitably expand GTEDS' market share in the healthcare industry.
Responsible for development and maintenance of the business and strategic plans for
targeted market segments and development, direction and coordination of action plans for
achieving revenue, margin, and net income targets. Developed and executed an alliance
strategy for external niche vendors. Led the acquisition of the Q/Care Managed Care MIS
from GTE Information Systems. Architected and developed a joint venture among GTE,
IBM, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Veritus Medicare Services, and Anderson
Consulting that subsequently produced the winning bid for the Medicare Transaction
