POSITION TITLE: OFFICE SUPPORT ASSISTANT

LOCATION: Ramstein Air Base
The purpose of this position is to provide administrative and technical office support which includes the
evaluation and processing of contract awards, invoice review, change order management for contacts
characterized by problems such as cost growths and overruns, unsatisfactory quality and performance, as well
as cost/fund control for Rhein-Main Transition Programs and the ABG 75 Cell.
Serves as central point of information to the USAFE/A7PC, Chief of the Capital Improvement Program
Branch, on administrative and technical office support requirements related to: Contract Program
Management and projects; Change Order management; cost/funds control; invoice review, records and
general office management.
Coordinates administrative and technical provisions of various service and requirement contracts to
verify invoices for payment of funds to the vendors. Provides basic analysis of contracts and
subsequent modifications for enhancements of provisions, alternative conditions, prices and charges,
method of computing charges and other details.
Receives and reviews invoices and change orders from host nation organizations. Verifies invoices
and releases to the Finance office for payment. Assists Senior Fund Manager/Official in accomplishing
US funds control and availability.
Serves as Reviewing Official for the Defense Travel System (DTS) for all personnel assigned to
Serves as Government Purchase Card (GPC) Holder for USAFE/A7C.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS IAW USAFEI 36-703:
Education & Training:
E&T Level II - Mittlerer Bildungsabschluss (Mittlerer Bildungsabschluss) oder vergleichbarer Abschluss oder
abgeschlossene Ausbildung in einem kaufmaennische oder verwaltungstechnischen Beruf.
Intermediate secondary school diploma or equivalent education or a completed apprenticeship with certificate
of completion in a commercial, administrative, business.

Creditable Experience Requirements:
2 years creditable experience (creditable experience includes any type of work or activity of an applicant that
has provided the basic knowledge, skills and abilities needed to successfully perform the major tasks of the
position for which considered).
As a rule one year of the total experience must have been gained at one level below the grade for which
