Lead Projects Overview:
In a client facing capacity participated in and lead diverse teams through successful project
initiation, gathering business process requirements from users and existing documentation, use
case development, process and workflow diagrams, project documentation, UI Prototyping,
functional technical design and data mapping, all phases of product development, creation and
execution of test strategies and plans, user acceptance testing, training, and production
deployment of custom mission critical systems. Proven successes in analyzing business and system
process requirements, adding value through innovation and product improvement, ability to
develop good peer to peer working relationships with internal and external business partners at all
levels, and delivering solutions that meet stakeholder needs on-time and on-budget for multi-
million dollar accounts:
- In a team environment led analysis and development of enhancements for a mission critical
Java/JSP/J2EE solution performing requirements elicitation, documentation, analysis, design and
implementation of enhancements including XML integration.
- Interfaced with clients, gathered requirements, architected, designed, created project
documentation and diagrams including database design and mapping, and led enhancement efforts
of a mission critical B2B Global OLTP solution. Suggested analyzed, designed, documented,
implemented and tested security enhancements in compliance with best practices including digital
certificate, proxy server and firewall security requirements. Analyzed and re-architected their
ASP/DCOM/COM/C++ web application to ASP.Net.
- Completed development of a business critical web based Java/JSP/J2EE solution analyzing and
adding invoicing, miscellaneous charges, business rules modules, enhancement of other
functionalities including XML legacy systems integration, and performance optimization. Provided
application support for the system based on client needs and performed system maintenance.
- Gathered requirements, documented, diagrammed, designed, architected and developed a
nationally deployed B2B ASP/COM/C++ web based application which automated a paperless B2B
process, with online vendor service acceptance, review, approval, invoicing, and payment for
services. Systems interfaces were via electronic data interchange and a secured web based user
interface with a SQL Server back end. This solution completely replaced a paper system which
required a series of fax, Federal Express, manual review, and duplicate data entries, and facilitating
payment of invoices which had otherwise been delayed several months. The result was significantly
reduced costs of doing business, better turnaround times, and improved vendor relationships.
- Analyzed, designed and developed including process and work flow diagrams and project
documentation, a cross browser compatible, Active Server Pages/IIS/Oracle database driven web
solution for providing services to the military featuring business to business vendor solicitation
processing including proposal downloads, managing submissions and award information, and the
ability to complete and submit job applications over the internet. System functionality includes the
ability for administrators and company managers to dynamically update major portions of the
website including managing their Solicitation and Bidding process, Frequently Asked Questions,
Quality and Safety information, and daily news via a secured web based back office.

– Worked with stakeholders to analyze business needs, gather and document requirements,
architected, designed, developed, diagramed, performed database design, and implemented a Jobs
Posting solution for a Human Resources department. This system has a Visual Basic front end for
database management, a web based user interface, and SQL Server back end.
– Conceived of, architected, designed, documented, developed, and implemented a fully
configurable active server pages Security Module which featured the ability to grant page level and
page element permissions. This reusable module was used for asp based web applications
implementing ID/Password security. This reusable plug-in resulted in reduced development time
and costs, higher profit margin due to reusability of ID/Password security implementation.
- Analyzed requirements, developed use cases, specified hardware, and led team in creation of a C#
and VBScript.Net nationwide OLTP order system. Developed rates implementation, scheduling,
product management, XML legacy system integration, order creation, invoicing, management of
allocations, tracking, and identified and implemented performance improvements.
- Developed a Visual Basic application to process payroll with the ADP payroll service; automated
and configured the ADP upload process to eliminate transcription errors occurring during manual
payroll processing which facilitated timely and accurate transmission of payroll data.
- Assisted in the analysis and development of a secure ASP/IIS/SQL Server web portal site;
developed functionality for users to create, edit and review cargo bookings, provide cargo tracking
