Fellow Alumni,
Within this annual report, you will find facts and figures that chart the progress of your USF Alumni
Association in its mission to foster mutually beneficial, lifelong relationships between the University and
its current and future alumni. Each page contains useful information about our organization and its goals,
but what I find to be most valuable are the personal stories behind the statistics.

I’m thinking of the retired couple who returned to campus for Homecoming for the first time since 1968,
when USF had only five buildings. I’m thinking of more than 1,300 alumni who received free job search
assistance from our Alumni CareerQuest partnership. I’m thinking of so many deserving students who
were able to continue their education and develop leadership skills thanks to programs and scholarships
generously funded by Alumni Association members. Most of all, I’m thinking of the steadily growing
number of alumni from all walks of life who have pledged their commitment to USF by becoming Life
Members of the USF Alumni Association. Their support guarantees there will be an Alumni Association
for the generations of Bulls to come.

our report dated October 21, 2011, on our consideration of the Association’s
internal control over financial reporting and on our tests of its compliance
with certain provisions of laws, regulations, contracts, and grant agreements
and other matters. The purpose of that report is to describe the scope of
our testing of internal control over financial reporting and compliance and
the results of that testing, and not to provide an opinion on the internal
control over financial reporting or on compliance. That report is an inte-
