                         endorse the position that a child’s first visit to the dentist should
                         occur within six months of the eruption of the first tooth.”

First Dental Visit Timing and Establishment of the Dental Home (AAP Policy
2002:22-H-7           “Resolved, that the AGD endorses the American Academy of
                      Pediatrics (AAP) Policy Proposal from the AAP Section on
                      Pediatric Dentistry entitled “First Dental Visit Timing and
                      Establishment of the Dental Home,” and be it further

                        Resolved, that the AGD communicate this endorsement to the

2002:23-H-7          “Resolved, that the AGD advocates incorporation of oral health
                     education into primary and secondary school curricula with
                     measurable outcomes, as a proven and cost effective disease
                     prevention and universal health promotion program.”
