We’re not really a society that cares about paper anymore.
People read the news on their computers, or their phones. Last Thursday, three
different companies delivered phone directories to my neighborhood. On Friday, all
of those phonebooks were on their way to the recycling center…or the landfill.
And when it comes time to celebrate a birthday or a graduation or baptize a new
baby, Facebook or an e-mailed “evite” seem to be the norms.
Those kind of invitations seem, well, cheap. E-mail’s going the way of the cassette
tape, so any sort of e-vite might sit unread for days or weeks.
And while Facebook may have replaced e-mail, inviting someone to your event
through Facebook means your invitation is going to have to fight for space among
Farmville requests and ads for movies and concerts.
In order to make your event stand out, go the traditional route, with Inspired Design.
Founded 10 years ago, Inspired Design specializes in invitations, place cards, reply
cards, thank you cards, bonboniere cards, place cards, save the date cards, wishing
well cards, gift registry cards, menu cards, guest entrance cards, order of service
cards or anything else you might need.
Sure, there are a lot of “do it yourself” type of websites out there that allow you to
design your own menu, place card, or thank you note. Do you really want to take
that chance when you are going to be presenting this to your customer? From our
experience, we have seen a major reduction in quality in these materials that we have
seen customrs attempt to produce on their own. The major problem that we have
seen with these do it yourself type websites, is that you do not have access to
industrial grade software that the professionals have. Most of the time, the quality is
limited because everything is done as a template, and you are not really able to do
what you need to do as far as production is concerned.
If you are a business owner and need a media packet for your company, do yourself a
favor and get the job done right the first time, don’t take the chance with another
If you place an order with us, the first thing that we will do is show you a rough draft,
if you approve this draft we will then move on to develop the final concept. Once
that is approved, you will then approve or make changes to that and it will then get
sent to print.
