Important

Upon acceptance of your application, you will be informed to take up a Medical test. A certified Class One Aviation
Medical certificate issued by an authorised Medical Examiner .

Guidance for All Prospective Students
Admission and Enrolment Procedure

1.    Please read carefully the College’s procedure for admission, cancellation and withdrawal.
2.    Send the completed application form with all required documents shall be sent by courier to;

3.    Your application will be evaluated promptly and should you be eligible for admission, you will receive a “Letter of
      Acceptance” to be used for the issue of your student visa and to obtain a Class One Medical certificate.
4.     Subject to payment of initial Enrolment Fee and compliance of other preliminaries, the “Letter of Acceptance”
      reserves you a place at the College and notifies you how and when your course fees etc. are due.
5.    You will then need to make an application to your nearest Malaysian Consulate to apply for your student visa.

Cancellation – Withdrawal – Refunds Policy

6.    Applicant acknowledges that they are enrolling in a complete course of study, and are not purchasing a collection
      of flying hours.
7.    If a cancellation is made more than one (1) weeks prior to the start of the course then 80% of the application fee will
      be refunded.
8.    If an cancellation is made less than one (1) week prior to the start of the course then 50% of the application fee will
      be refunded.
9.    Deferral to a later course can be accepted up to 2 week prior to the start of the course.
10.   If a student is refused a visa for study in Malaysia then 90% of the application fee will be refunded within four (4)
      weeks after a written claim is submitted by the student, along with copies of the original visa application and the
      refusal letter from the Malaysian Embassy of Consulate. This provision will only apply when the written claim is
      received by GGIFA at least two (2) weeks prior to the start of the course.
11.   Students having been accepted by the College but subsequently withdrawing after commencing a course have
      their tuition refunded according to the following:
      a. Withdrawal up to the conclusion of week 5 of the course will entitle the student to a refund of 10% of the total
            course fee.
      b. Withdrawal up to the conclusion of week 10 of the course will entitle the student to a refund of 5% of the total
            course fee.
      c. Withdrawal after the conclusion of week 10 of the course will not entitle the student to a refund.
12.   There is a no refund of the Pilot Support Pack purchase.
13.   Where a student withdraws from a course the refund from item 11 will be paid 4 weeks after the date the College
      terminates the student, or that the student advises the College in writing that they have withdrawn. In other
      circumstances the refund will be paid within 2 weeks.
14.   Students applying for a refund must do so in writing to the address shown at point 2 above.
15.   No refund will be given to any student who breaches their visa conditions or fails to meet course requirements.
16.   Students undertaking an English language course prior to starting a course with GGIFA will be considered a
      GGIFA student from the commencement of their period of study in Malaysia.
17.   Course fees quoted in information packs are based on allocated hours. Any additional flying, theory, theory exams,
      flight test or other materials will incur additional costs.
18.   If there is any increase in the cost of Aviation fuel, a surcharge will be invoiced to the student based on the
      difference of the new and previous prices of the fuel.
19.   Student will bear all cost for perquisite medical examinations in Malaysia if they are required to do so.
20.   Student required to take the English Proficiency Test as required by the ICAO will bear all cost related to the
      Examinations.
21.   This agreement does not remove the right to take further action under Malaysia’s Consumer Protection laws.

Claims and Proceedings Arising out of this Contract

This contract shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and any dispute arising out of this contract be dealt within
Malaysia.



Course Fee & Payment Schedule

For International Student s, fees for the CPL/IR with frozen ATPL course are paid according to the following
schedule:
1. Upon receipt of Letter of Acceptance :                    10%              US$ 10,900.00.
2. On Course Commencement date :                             40%              US$ 31,600.00
3. Six months after course commencement date :               50%              US$ 39,500.00



Please contact us for fee and payment schedule for other courses. We reserve the right to amend the above fee and or
payment schedule as deemed necessary at our sole prerogative.

Course Duration:           20 months

Fee Includes:              Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) and Frozen Airline Pilots
                           Licence (ATPL) Incl. Of Private Pilots Licence
                           Aviation English certification of at least Level 4

                           Full Board (Meals and Accommodation for the entire duration of 20 months).
                           Transport will be provided for travel between Accommodation and theCollege.

Fee excludes:              Malaysian Visa charges
                           Travel from India to Bintulu, Malaysia.
