							                                INSTRUCTIONS
 Please complete both the IRAP and the IAT task followed by the Questionnaire


IRAP Task:

Open the file entitled ‘IRAP 2006 Program’.
You will see a blue screen, press the space bar.
At the bottom right hand corner type ‘IRAP1’ in the box which reads ‘Type File
Name Here’ and use the mouse to click on the ‘Load File Button’.
Then use the mouse to click on the button which reads ‘Only click here when all
information has been entered’.
You will now see a white screen. At the top right of this screen type ‘irap.rtf’ in the
box which reads ‘type in name of instruction file’
Click the box which reads ‘Click here to prepare screen for participant’.
Now, carefully read through the instructions for the task. When you have thoroughly
read and understand the instructions, please click on the box which reads ‘ Only click
here when you are sure that you understand the instructions’

When you are finished the task your data will be saved in the folder as a word
document labelled IRAP DATA. Please email this word document to the following
address as an attachment: sarah.roddy@gmail.com.



IAT Task:

Open the file entitled ‘IAT Program’
On the toolbar at the top of the screen you will see the play button, use the mouse to
click this button.
Again, use the mouse to click the button ‘Click here to start the program’
On the bottom right hand corner type ‘iat1’ in the box that reads ‘Type file name
here’.
Then use the mouse to click on the button which reads ‘Only click here when all
information has been entered and you are ready to start the experiment.’
Carefully read through the instructions and complete the task.

When you are finished the task your data will be saved in the folder as a document
labelled ‘IAT Data’. Please email this word document to the following email address
as an attachment: sarah.roddy@gmail.com

Questionnaire

Please complete the questionnaire by highlighting the appropriate response options.
There are also a series of demographic questions to be completed at the start of this
questionnaire. Save the changes to the document and send it as an attachment to the
following address: sarah.roddy@gmail.com
All participants who return the two completed data files and the questionnaire to the
researcher will be entered into a draw for a €50 One For All Voucher.
