Business Development. Led business development success for the Western Region and specific U.S. Navy
portfolios. Director of Marketing for a small high tech firm. Business development professional—
market/client identification, market/client entry, capture management, proposal management, proposal writing,
oral presentations, project initiation, project management, and project management transfer. Authored
marketing strategies, marketing brochures and web site content to highlight company strengths. Brought in
100% of the division’s new business. Recognized by senior management for business development success.

Program Management . Direct, hands-on, program management experience (over 12 years). Led programs
responsible for $100 Million in foreign military sales to four Middle Eastern countries. Supervised 50 naval
officers, 1380 enlisted personnel and 300 civilian employees. Lead program manager for a 50 person Western
Region operation. Accountable for a portfolio of projects involving cost control, timeline development,
resource procurement and risk management.

Facilities Management. Accountable for facilities valued at $1.2 Billion. Prioritized military construction and
job order contract projects. Approved site plans, which included various environmental compliance issues. All
projects completed on schedule and within budget. Chaired a Quality Review Board which determined the
Base Operations Support (BOS) Contractor performance based award fee. Worked with customers and BOS
Contractor to develop innovative, effective and timely solutions for keeping customer satisfaction at high levels
in a severely reduced budget environment. Ensured that the BOS Contractor was included as a partner and had
full membership on Team Whidbey.

Customer Relations Management. Project manager for numerous U.S. Navy projects where client relations
were critical to the successful outcome of the projects. Received 11 “All 5” awards for projects supervised
(received marks of 5 (5 being the highest) on all client survey questions). Responsible for positive customer
relation results from one-on-one client relationships up to having 10,000 customers.

Team Building. Built a high performance team responsible for developing business and producing outstanding
client results. Personally selected many of the team members. Successful in building teams across a region,
within a division, and across the company.

Business Process Redesign. Led the only region office in the company designed to matrix across the company.
Reorganized the office to best fit the corporate matrix organization ensuring effective communications across a

performance, and organizational development for Western Region operations. Led the CTC office in
Bremerton, WA to unprecedented success. Led multiple multi-million dollar programs centered on DOD
operations in the area of Navy Shore Infrastructure Management, and other programs dealing with system of

Led a 1700 person organization responsible for the operation of a Naval Air Station and maintenance/repair of
aircraft components. Accountable for a $143 Million annual budget, a plant value of $1.2 Billion, and 55,000
acres of property. Supported active duty and reserve naval forces, including 120 aircraft.

Country Director for Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and Yemen, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD),

Developed national security policy studies, options, and objectives for the Secretary and other Defense
