First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (FQM) is a mining and metals company. It undertakes the exploration, development, mining and
refining of metals and minerals. The company produces LME grade A copper cathode, concentrated copper, gold and sulphuric
acid. It operates three mines, namely, Kanshanshi (80% owned) in Zambia, Guelb Moghrein (100% owned) in Mauritania and
Ravensthorpe, Western Australia (100%). Geographically, the company also has presence in five development projects, such as
Kansanshi (100% owned, Copper smelter, Zambia), Kevitsa (100% owned, Finland), Sentinel (100% owned Zambia), Haquira
(100% owned, Peru), Enterprise (100% owned Zambia). As of now, the company developed six mines.
