WebEOC Resource Manager
Definitions of Fields
NIMS Resource – This information is taken directly from the NIMS Resource Typing Guideline.
Additional resources can be added to the bottom of each spreadsheet as needed.
ResourceName – This is a descriptive name of your choice. i.e. “USAR Team Alpha”. The
resource name will be displayed in the resource list and can be used as search criteria.
Quantity – The physical number available. This value will be used as the basis for decrementing
from/adding back to the resource inventory as they are deployed and returned to service.
Description – Enter any additional information for the resource as required.
Resource Group – This is a repeat of the first column “ NIMS Resource” – This column is
required for automatic import to WebEOC
Resource Type - This can be the most confusing field to enter. NIMS has standardized
resources by Type. You can view the NIMS description for each type by clicking the NIMS
Definition button. The NIMS detail view opens in a separate window.– OR – use the attached Zip
File of Word Documents which list the Type Definitions.
Resource Owner – Select the owning agency of the resource from the drop-down list.
Cost per unit – in Dollars (no dollar sign in necessary)
Rate Type – Select from drop-down list
Location – Name of location where resource is staged. The location will be displayed in the
resource list and can be used as a search criterion. This can be a descriptive name of your
choice. i.e. “South Maintenance Yard”
Address1 – Street number and name of the location where the resource is stationed
Address2 – use this field if the address is longer than standard. i.e. :” Warehouse 12” or “Mail
City – Your City
County - You can leave this blank, the dash (-) in front of County makes this choice unusable.
Zip Code 5 – This is your normal Zip code
Zip Code 4 – Some zip codes have four extra numbers after a dash
Phone Number with Area Code – Enter a 7/24 phone number that can be used to request the
