Creating Search Committee
and Search Committee Chair

 Login to Forticlient.
 Open a web browser and type novushr.pgcc.edu
 Type in the username and password.
 Username and password will be the same as your Owl Link user
 ID. (Password for the first time is: novushr)
 Click the login button.
 After logging in the first time, change your password to match
 your password for Owl Link.                                      3
Select a category, e.g., Math from the drop down box.
Click on Search to Search Job Posting Requests.
Click on the Requisition Title link to select that job posting
request.

Click on the Search Committee tab.
Click on the check box to the left of Create Search
Committee.

In the alert box that appears, click ok
to create A Search Committee or click
cancel and not create a Search
Committee.

Click Add New Members to add Search Committee Members. More
than one committee member may be added.
Click Search.

Click the Check box to the left of the Committee Chair.
Click Save Chair changes to save the chair.
Click Save to continue.
Repeat to add new members.

Click on the Interview form tab.
Click on the Edit Interview Form to edit interview questions.

Section to add a new
section.

Type the Section name in the
box, e.g., Criteria Rating Form.
Click the green disk to the
right.

To edit or create question
text, click on the pencil to
the right of the question to
be edited.
Click Save to continue.

Type text in the box.
Click the green check mark to
the right of the text box to add
the question.




Click save to continue.

Click the pencil to edit
text to the left of the text
box to be edited.
If not, click save to
continue.

Click on Add New
Question, to add a new
question.

Click the pencil to add
another question.

Use the arrows to
rearrange the order of
the questions.

Click on Edit Prescreening Questions.

Click on Add a New Question to add a new question.

Click on the pencil to edit a question.

Click on the Question Type.
Type the Question.
Type a Question Comment, e.g., instructions.




 If the question requires a response
 check the check box to the right.
 Click Save and Exit to continue.

Click on the Workflow tab.
Click on Approve or Disapprove.
Click Submit.

Click on Conduct
Interview to conduct
the interview and
rate the applicant.

Rate the candidate
by clicking on the
circle with1 being
very weak and 5
being excellent.



Add any comments
in the Comments
Text box.


Enter the Date
Conducted.
Click Save to
continue.

Click on summary
to see a summary
of comments,
criteria ratings, and
interview
questions.

To view individual
responses from
other contributing
users, click on a
link under the
contributing users
tab, e.g., math,
math.
