a “Self-Escape Course for College Bound Teens and Adults” to be held on Friday,

YORBA LINDA WOMEN’S CLUB SCHOLARSHIP: Seniors residing in the Placentia-Yorba

J.E.D. FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP: $5,000 renewable scholarship for students living
with a single, working parent and planning to attend CSU, Long Beach, CSU Fullerton, or
UCI. Applications are available in the Student Services office and must be submitted to
the J.E.D. Foundation on or before May 22 , 2010. Questions should be directed to

DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY SCHOLARSHIP: Male and females of African –
American descent are eligible for this scholarship. Applications are available in the
Student Services office. Completed applications are due March 31, 2010.
YOUTH AUTOMOBILE SAFETY SCHOLARSHIP: Essay based competition for seniors who
are children of full-time/retired public employees. Essay requires students to propose
ways to reduce the accident rate among teens. Application is available at
www.CSEinsurance.com under “About Us” and “Youth Scholarship”. Application/Essay
is due April 5, 2010.
NORDSTROM SCHOLARSHIP: Nordstrom is offering scholarship opportunities to high
school juniors. 2.7 GPA, community service, 4 year college plans are part of the
requirements. Apply online at Nordstrom.com/scholarship. Applications must be
submitted no later than May 15, 2010.
OCCF SCHOLARSHIPS: The Orange County Community Foundation scholarship
