Role Title:                Joules Distribution Centre – Warehouse Operations Manager
                           The successful candidate will report into the General Manager and will look after the warehouse and

                           despatch operation, ensuring all KPI's are achieved / exceeded. You will look after a team of key
                           operatives and team leaders. You will be responsible for dealing with day to day issues ensuring
                           compliance with statutory and Company policies on Health & Safety, employment, Legislative and
                           Environmental issues
                           To plan, co-ordinate, supervise, review and report upon the work activities of a team through effective
                           management, communication, leadership, motivation, training & development.

General Accountabilities

         Achievement of warehouse operational KPI’s such as productivity, quality, stock integrity and attendance
         Management of transport / courier KPI's
         Co-ordinate all Operational resource to deliver operational effectiveness
         Ensure compliance with all company programmes, processes and procedures
         Ensure all Health and Safety policies are clearly understood and implemented throughout the team and identifies
          opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness
         Control of resource planning and agency management across the warehouse
         Responsible for escalating any major issues appropriately
         Actively live, demonstrate and support the company guiding principles
         Support the recruitment, retention, motivation and development of the team
         Manage the performance of team against clear objectives and expectations
         Engage with the HR team to ensure that best practice appropriate to the needs of the business is applied across the site
         Develop strong relationships with key operational contacts and deal effectively with senior client contacts
         Contribute to budget planning and reviews financial performance against budget
         Support in the process of identifying opportunities, deploying strategies and implementing practical solutions to best
          deliver on viable business opportunities
         Ensure that improvements in operations are identified and actioned thereby improving efficiency and making cost savings
         Trouble shoot, investigate and resolve any on-going problems or queries at site level
         Employee development, communication, work allocation, employee relations, disciplinary and grievance issues, and
          absence management

         Experience of managing and controlling a budget

         Management experience of a busy warehouse office
         Management experience of a multi-channel retailer or similar
         Experience of working with a large employee base (Over 100 colleagues)
         Experience of working within Fashion Retail
         Experience of dealing directly with suppliers UK and multi country
         WMS (Red Prairie) proficiency at an operational and strategic level
         Project Management
         Knowledge of working time directive
