Location: Global (this role will involve extensive travel overseas for long periods of time as required)

Job Purpose & Context
The Project Manager will ensure realisation of P2i’s business objectives by executing program plans,
guiding and assertively influencing decision making, actively coordinating cross-functional activity
and delivering on project timelines, deliverables and actions. They will take an action-oriented,
practical and pragmatic role in the planning and management of the deployment of P2i technology
into customer operations involving multi-equipment and multi-site contracts and identify and
harness whichever P2i resources and capabilities are required to deliver success for our customers.

This role needs to be both outward facing towards the customer and inward facing towards P2i, fully
understanding all relevant customer requirements, processes, procedures, limitations and
constraints as well as P2i technology, resources, capabilities, limitations and constraints. The
successful candidate will be able to produce project plans with timescales, deliverables and owners
identifying and implementing clear action plans and ensuring smooth integration and
implementation into customer’s manufacturing processes. They will also be able to provide support
into Sales, Applications, R&D and Operations processes as required.

The successful candidate will be dynamic, professional and have a positive approach to their work.
Being self-motivated and self-sufficient they will be able to work on their own initiative, be assertive,
adaptable and creative and be able to build strong business relationships and work well within a
team.



Main Responsibilities

1    Visit Customer Sites and establish key relationships and contacts

2    Guide issue management, risk management, crisis management and problem solving activities to
     overcome obstacles to project progress and success

3    Interact with and establish strong P2i inter-departmental relationships drawing together cross-
     functional project teams as required

4    Produce and actively manage, dynamic, real-time project plans using project management best
     practices to effectively plan, monitor, and control schedules, resources, and budgets
5    Act as the communication link between all parties during deployment

Academic Qualifications
   Physical Sciences or Engineering Degree or equivalent


Essential Skills & Experience
   5-8 years’ experience of developing, manufacturing or implementing complex
    technical/scientific products.
   3-5 years’ experience as a project team leader
   Broad technical skills (physical sciences and/or engineering) and knowledge of implementation
    across a wide range of industries
   Understanding of customer requirements
   Project implementation & management
   Relationship management and interpersonal skills; able to communicate at all levels
   Presentation, communication, influencing, negotiating skills
   Problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
   PC literate with Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word and report writing skills
