“Does the hawk spread his wings and take flight by your wisdom ……… ?” Job 39:26
As the Easter Season is upon us, we tend to hold tighter to our Cross and
are more willing to carry it. Our Stewardship Committee prays that this
season is very meaningful for you and your families, and shares the
following message from the Daily Devotion Bible.
Cling to the Cross
One day the apostles said to the Lord,
“We need more faith; tell us how to get it” (17:5).
In the beginning it was easy for the apostles to believe. They watched
Jesus heal the sick and give sight to the blind. They saw him raise the
widow’s son from the dead and call Lazarus from the grave. They
witnessed his power when he rebuked the wind and calmed the sea. But
then Jesus began to confront the religious leaders with their sin and the
trouble started. Soon the leaders plotted to have him arrested, and Jesus
predicted his own death. The apostles were confused, so they pleaded
with Jesus, “We need more faith; tell us how to get it”. April 17
