Software and Hardware Description

    1. General


This appendix describes the functions, methods for testing and validation of the
software. All software is written in the ASSEMBLY language. This allows for a
modular program that is easily tested and verified for each mode of operation. This
allows for the self-diagnosis of all systems.


    2. Level of Concern

The level of concern for the software should be rated MINOR. Failure or latent design
flaws would not be expected to result in death or serious physical injury to patients. A
failure in the software or design flaw prevent proper exposure or produce an unusable
image on an X-ray film and display an error message on the control panel.


    3. Functional Requirements and System Specification


The PLC system has many safety features that prevent an X-ray exposure or will
terminate an exposure in event of PLC failure. One external Watchdog circuit which
separate time base is always active on the Main Board. The software in the ASADAL
consists of just one PLC system.
ASADAL has also hardware units that control directly warnings and alarms without
microcontroller. This hardware unit communicates to Main board the alarm status and
stops itself the function, the warnings status instead is only communicated to Main
board.

    4. Groups or Unit Hardware


4.1.   Glossary


WARNING : We define “warning” as any situation that is not dangerous. It is
           presented in the system as an anomaly and an audible “beep” will alert the
           user. The system will continue to work after a warning is sounded.
ALARM : We define “alarm” as any situation dangerous to the system. All alarm
           conditions will be shown on the LCD window. A continues audible signal
           will be generated and the system will discontinue to operate.
SPIE : We define “spie” as all symbols designed on the LCD Graphic Display
DATA : We define “data” as all numeric information and factors (i.e. - 100kV, 25mA ,
and Exposure Time).

4.3. Operation Panel
This unit gives and gets all the relative information to the ASADAL from the operator.
Relative data to the Shockwave level, count, X-Ray kV, mA, Exposure Time, way of
work like as: bed status, C-Arm status and others.
The commands and data arrive from the PLC each 50msec by RS232 communication
cable.
It is compose from a Membrane and a graphic LCD display, graphic interface board
and input data.




4.4. Reflector
All commands arrive from Main Board by RS232 communication cable.




4.5. I.I (IMAGE Intensifier)
This board drives the Iris diaphragm on the camera, it drives Image rotation on the
camera, it select the Zoom of the Image Intensifier besides interface all signals from
the CCD Camera from Main Board.
All commands arrive from Main Board by RS232 communication cable.



4.6. CCU & CCD Camera
This board sends to Main board the kV balance signals. The kV balance signals are
used from the Main board to regulate the input light level present on CCD sensor.

5.4.3. Function Description


The command and type of rotation speed directly receive from Main Board. If
Command is given of slowing or Fasting rotate the Rotor and to the heads of the rotate
anode motor there is not the right voltage it will be generate a Rotate Fault alarm for
the Main Board. The Main Board will stop immediately the RX Power.

Measure : Returns to CP1 with Operation Desk Trip

DEFAULT : Study 를 생성 할 경우 각 속성들의 목록에 기본 선택되어지는 Data 이다.
COUNT : 목록에 나타날 정보의 개수이다.
※ Data 의 목록은 Study 창에서 추가하면 1 에서부터 순차적으로 증가하며, Default 값을
변경은 직접 INI 파일에서 변경하여야 한다.

DEFAULT_COUNT : 프로그램 실행 할 경우                정해진 값을 PLC 로 전송하여 사용할
Shockw ave Count 를 설정한다(단위 : 1 회).
COUNT_MIN, MAX : 사용 가능한 Shockwav e Count 의 범위를 설정한다.
DEFAULT_INTERVAL : 프로그램 실행 할 경우 정해진 값을 PLC 로 전송하여 Shockwave
Interval Time 를 설정한다(단위 0.1 초).
INTERVAL_MIN, MAX : 사용 가능한 Shock wave Interval Time 의 범위를 설정한다.


8) Program




MASK_X : Live View 영상을 Masking 할 X 축 좌표 값이다.
MASK_Y : Live View 영상을 Masking 할 Y 축 좌표 값이다.
MASK_SIZE : Live View 영상을 Masking 할 X 축, Y 축 기준으로 그려질 반지름 값이다.
MASK_USED : Live View 영상을 Masking    유무를 나타낸다.
DEFAULT_FILTER : Recursive Filter 의 횟수를 지정한다.
DYNAMIC_FILTER : 사용안함
DYNAMIC_USED : 사용안함

ABS_AREA : Live View 영상에서 ABS 의 기준이 되는 영역을 나타낸다(순서 좌에서 우 :
Left, Top, Right, Bottom).
LEVEL : Still View 에 Default 로 적용되어질 Level 값이다.
WIDTH : Still View 에 Default 로 적용되어질 Width 값이다.
BRIGHTNESS : Live View 에 Default 로 적용되어질 밝기 값이다.
CONTRAST : Live View 에 Default 로 적용되어질 대비 값이다.
KVP_MAX : Kvp 값이 정해진 값을 넘을 경우 더 이상 올라가지 않도록 구현 되어있다.
GUEST : 프로그램 실행하면 Work List 창을 실행 여부를 나타낸다(0 : Open).
MODE : 사용안함
TODAY : 오늘 날짜를 나타낸다.
DAY_COUNT : 오늘 시술 회수를 나타낸다.
MSG_COUNT, LIMIT_COUNT, TOTAL_COU NT : 사용회수가 TOTAL_COUNT + LIMIT_
COUNT 가 넘는다면 SW 가 동작하지 않고, MSG_COUNT 가 넘을 경우 경고 메시지를
나타낸다("SDS5000"의 값이 0 인 경우만 동작)
SDS5000 : 프로그램이 EM 으로 동작할지 여부를 나타낸다(0 : EM).

- Program 에서 사용할 매개 변수를 설정할 수 있으며, INI 의 설정 값과 동일하다
    (단축키 : Alt + L).

[Image 26. Shockwave Count Reset]
- INI 에서 SDS5000 의 매개 변수가 0 인 경우 나타나는 버튼이며, 누르게 되면
위와 같은 창이 나타난다. 창에서 “7321”를 입력 후 OK 버튼을 누르게 되면
현재 Shockwave Count 가 초기값으로 지정된다.
9) ABS Configuration

AVERAGE_MIN, MAX : ABS 영역의 평균값의 범위를 지정한다.
DEFAULT_KVP, MA : 사용안함
MAX_KVP, MA : 사용안함
RECORD_COUNT : ABS 동작 Kvp, mA Dat a 의 개수를 나타내며, Data 는 1 부터
1 식증가하여 범위를 정한다.

- ABS 에 적용될 매개 변수를 지정한다.
- Average Byte 의 Min, Max 값을 높이게 되면 ABS 동작할 경우 영상의 밝기가 높아져야
 하므로 X-Ray 조건이 높아지게 되며, 값을 낮추게 되면 ABS 동작할 경우 영상의 밝기가
 낮아지게 되므로 X-Ray 조건이 낮게 조사된다.
