Qualifications and Selection Process
Selected nominee will be based on meeting the below listed eligibility and rated on his/her contributions in
Saint Paul’s West Side community, through civic and/or social services, humanitarianism or personal
achievements.
Current or long term past resident of Saint Paul’s West Side
Understand the significance of Cinco de Mayo
Available and willing to lead the parade on Saturday, May 5, 2012
Available and willing to travel throughout the event following the parade (accompanied by SPF&HF staff
and/or Planning Committee Volunteer(s) engaging with event attendees
Available and willing to participate (accompanied by SPF&HF staff and/or Planning Committee Volunteer(s)
in interviews including media entities
