                                                          Application Tester

    A vacancy exists within the Quality Department for a Application Tester at the Germiston factory. The
    successful incumbent will report to the Quality Superintendent.


Key Results Areas:

        To perform application tests on our plaster products & recommend solutions to meet customer
         expectations with regards to product applications.
        To educate staff on the correct application and use of the plaster product
        To provide product demonstrations and evaluations in order to determine and highlight any plaster
         features that could be a potential problem to the customer.
        Development training to enable self development and succession planning. Aim towards evaluator
         standard. Training structure and LOS motivated.
        Supportive of the local and global business strategies.
        Aim towards a detailed knowledge and understanding of the complete range of gypsum plaster
         products.
        Be able to successfully communicate plaster benefits and features to all levels within the industry.


Qualifications:

        Matric / Grade 12
        Diploma or degree qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience:

        Must have 3 years experience in dealing with sub-contractors in the building industry

Personal Attributes and Skills:

        Knowledge and experience in the building industry and Gyproc’s plasters products will be an
         advantage.
        General SAP and MS Office experience is essential

        Multi tasking skills
        Be target driven and be a team player.
        Be able to work over weekends and holidays, where the need may arise.
