                        SIX SENSES CON DAO –APPOINTMENTS


Six Senses Bangkok Hub – 30th September 2010: Six Senses Resorts & Spas is delighted to
announce that the General Manager for Six Senses Con Dao, opening in Vietnam this December,
is Susan Noonan. Susan will be joined by Demeiter Vaubell, as her Director of Sales & Marketing,
Executive Chef, Richard Lee. And Elizabeth Baxter as Rooms Division Manager.

Susan Noonan joined Six Senses in 2008, as pre-opening General Manager for Six Senses Con Dao in
Vietnam, with responsibilities for overseeing the initial project development. In the spring of 2009
Susan transferred to Six Senses Yao Noi in Thailand as General Manager. She has had an extensive
25 year career in the tourism and hospitality industry, with her most recent position being General
Manger of Pacific Resort Aitutaki, the leading luxury hotel in the Cook Islands. Susan has also held
positions as General Manager with Saville Park Suites in Darwin, Dunk Island Resort and Heron
Island Resort both located on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. A native Australian, Susan studied at
Kelvin Grove College in Queensland.

Susan is joined at Six Senses Con Dao by her fellow Australian, Demeiter Vaubell, in the role of
Director of Sales & Marketing. Demeiter joined Six Senses Resorts & Spas as Director of Sales &
Marketing for Six Senses Zighy Bay in the Sultanate of Oman in 2009. After completing a year
there she is now pleased to be joining the launch team for Six Senses Con Dao, reporting directly to
General Manager, Susan Noonan.

Demeiter too brings with her over 20 years of hospitality experience having worked for a number
of international hotel chains around the world including Anantara Resorts & Spas, where she held
the position of director of sales international. Demeiter completed Hospitality Management &
Tourism studies at both the College of Tourism & Hospitality (QLD) and Victoria University in
Australia and started her hospitality career in Hong Kong where she was part of a successful team
that opened the Conrad Hotel.



Richard Lee joined Six Senses as Executive Chef for Evason Ma’In Hot Springs & Spa Jordan in
2008. Having graduated from hospitality & catering school in the UK Richard has spent nearly 15
years working in five star hotels and Michelin star restaurant kitchens in both the UK and Cyprus.
Richard’s passion is for local, organic, simple and fresh food and delivering exceptional quality at all
times. Six Senses Con Dao is Richard’s fourth resort opening.



Elizabeth Baxter joined Six Senses as Revenue Manager for the pre-opening team at Evason Ma’In
Hot Springs & Spa in Jordan in 2008. Completing her degree in Hospitality Operations Management
at Gloucester University in the UK, Elizabeth brings over 14 years hospitality experience having
worked for Macdonald Hotels, Handpicked Hotels and Hilton Hotels.
Six Senses Con Dao is situated on the 16 island archipelago of Con Dao, in the middle of the Con Dao
national park, off Vietnam’s south east coast. It is an area of unspoilt natural beauty and reached
by daily flights from Ho Chi Minh City. Six Senses Con Dao opens on December 15th 2010.
