STATEMENT OF WORK
FLEET AND INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY CENTER SAN DIEGO
LIGHTWEIGHT MODULAR VAULT
1.0 BACKGROUND
Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego (FISCSD) provides logistics, business and support services to fleet,
shore and industrial commands of the Navy, Coast Guard and Military Sealift Command and other joint and allied
forces. FISCSD delivers combat capability through logistics by teaming with regional partners and customers to
provide supply chain management, procurement, contracting and transportation services, technical and customer
support, defense fuel products and worldwide movement of personal property.
2.0 SCOPE OF WORK/OBJECTIVE
FISCSD seeks a Contractor to develop, deliver and install a GSA AA-V-2737 approved modular vault system.
Conforming to GSA specification AA-V-2737, six-sided system, Lightweight meeting the following specifications:
A) Approx. inside dimensions: 12'0" Wide x 24'0" Deep x 12'-0" High
B) Approx. outside dimensions: 12'-8" Wide x 24'-8" Deep x 12'-8" High
C) 6-Sided (4 walls, floor and ceiling)
D) One (1) Double leaf vault door: 80" wide x 78" high and meeting the GSA labeled and approved Class 5-V rating
and Federal Specification AA-D-600. The right side door is to be the active door (Lock installed).
E) One (1) Kaba Mas X-09 lock installed meeting Federal Specifications: FF-L-2740 and FF-L-2890.
F) (4) 1" diameter access openings in ceiling (alarm, electric, communication)
G) (4) HVAC access openings (4" x 16") in ceiling
H) Interior plywood floor
3.0 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
The Contractor may deliver the vault in panels and assemble/install the vault at the FISC delivery location. The
contractor will have up to 5 working days to complete the assembly and installation. The contractor shall have 12
weeks from award of contract to complete this requirement. Any additional time required can only be authorized by
the Contracting Officer. The contractor shall coordinate delivery and installation with the TPOC.
4.0 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES
4.1 Not applicable.
5.0 PERSONNEL
5.1 Contractor personnel may not manage, supervise, or task DOD civilian employees or military personnel
while performing the tasks within this PWS.
5.1.1 Contractor personnel must be clearly identified (i.e. company shirt, pin, visible company ID, etc.) in a
visible location as to who their employer is with appropriate sleeved shirt, long pants and shoes.
5.2 Hours of operation. Normal hours of operation are 6:30 am through 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday and
exclude Federal Holiday. Deviations from the hours specified above may be requested by the Contractor
and submitted to the TPOC. The Contractor shall give an advance notice of the deviation of hours to the
TPOC at least two (2) business days in advance of proposed change.
6.0 NON-PERSONAL SERVICES CONTRACT.
The government and the contractor understand and agree that the tasks described in this performance work statement
shall be administered and performed as a non-personal services contract, as defined at FAR 37.101. The contractor
shall perform the tasks described by this performance work statement as an independent contractor. The government
shall not supervise or direct the contractor or its employees in the manner in which it performs the tasks.
