You’re my Friend
When you are sad...
I will help you plot revenge against
the sorry person who made you sad.
When you are blue…
I'll try to dislodge
When you are
I will rag you
When you are
I will tell you
about how much
worse it could be
and to quit whining.
When you are confused...
I will use
to explain it
to your dumb self.
When you are sick…
stay away from me until
you're well again.
I don't want whatever
When you smile...
I'll know you finally
got away with
cheating on your
When you fall, ...
I will point and laugh at your clumsy self.
This is my oath; I pledge 'till the end.
Why you may ask?
Because you're my friend!
Send this poem to ten of your closest friends
and get depressed because you realize
you only have 2 friends, and one of them
is not speaking to you right now anyway.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition
or vain conceit, but in humility
consider others better than yourselves.
Each of you should look not only
to your own interests, but also to the
interests of others.” --Philippians 2:3,4
A friend is one whom we pour out the contents
of our hearts, both chaff and grain together,
knowing that the gentlest of hands will sift it,
keep what is worth keeping, and with a breath
of kindness blow the rest away.
Friends are one soul in two bodies.
False friends are like shadows, staying close
to us in the sunshine but leaving us when
we walk in the shade.
Friends help you move.
Real friends help you move bodies.
Jesus and Humor
God has a sense of humor, although we don’t
see much of it in the Bible because sin is so horrible.
The gift of humor in humans is from God
Access to tons of humor on the internet
is a gift from God
