September 30, 2008                Welcome to Our Room! The Learning Environment based on the
                                                     High/Scope Approach
                                  This session will examine the learning environment and how it supports both active learning and
                                  conflict resolution based on the High/Scope classroom approach.

March 25, 2009                    Looking to Learn: Observation and Instruction based on the
                                                     High/Scope Approach
                                  This session will investigate how observation and assessment are keys to effective instruction.
                                  Connections will be made between the High/Scope approach and the PA Early Learning
                                  Standards.

May 20, 2009                      The Sights & Sounds of Quality based on the High/Scope Approach
                                  This session will investigate the daily routine based on the High/Scope Approach .


Location:     Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit, 252 Waterford Street, Edinboro PA 16412
Registration: 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Time:         9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Cost:         $35.00 (includes refreshments and lunch for all three sessions)

Presenter:    Cindy Griffith, Early Intervention Technical Assistance
Act 48 hours: Must attend all three sessions to be awarded the 15 Act 48 hours
DPW hours: 5 hours will be awarded after each session to participants.
