5   COMPETITION RULES
WTF Competition Rules
6   WTF-RECOGNIZED TAEKWONDO UNIFORM (DOBOK) AND PROTECTIVE
    EQUIPMENT
i. Participating contestants are required to wear WTF-recognized doboks and WTF-recognized
protective equipment. The latest version of WTF-recognized manufacturers’ list is available at
the website of WTF (http://www.wtf.org/wtf_eng/site/about_wtf/recognized.html).
ii. The Organizing Committee will provide the WTF electronic body protectors (DaeDo) to the
participating contestants. Participating contestants are required to bring along their own head
protectors, groin guards, mouthpieces, gloves, sensing socks, and shin and forearm guards for
their personal use. Before entering the field of play, all contestants will proceed to the inspection
desk for inspection of their doboks and protective equipment. Any contestant who wears
unofficial doboks or protective equipment will not be permitted to compete.



7 CONTEST TIME
2 minutes x 3 rounds with 1 minute break for all matches.

11 CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
i. Airfare and Accommodation
Round trip airfare and accommodation charges of room and board shall be borne by the participating
teams



12 CLASSIFICATION OF RESULTS
i. Medals will be awarded to the top four athletes in the respective classifications and weight divisions of
the pertinent championships:

Every participating national taekwondo association is required to bring the following items for use at the
Opening and/or Closing ceremonies:

         Two (2) IOC-recognized national flags
            Size: 90cm x 130cm
         CD or DVD of the pertinent IOC-recognized national anthem

        1-   All presidents of guest federations from the Mediterranean countries will be lodged in a five star hotel at the charge
             of Turkish Taekwondo Federation.

        2-   All the officials VIP members of the WTF or the MTU will be also the guests of Turkish Taekwondo Federation, their
             accommodation will be on the charge of the organizing committee.

        3-   International Referees will be invited by WTF Referee Chairman Chakir Chelbat considering the participating
             Mediterrian Countries.
